Work Text:
It was getting harder for Trevor to handle his past. He missed Derek so badly, but he had gone, left him behind, for Kristal.
Trevor felt like he didn’t have a purpose in life anymore. He felt like everyone would be better off without him. Or that if he perished, no one would notice.
He looked at the train tracks in front of him, seeing the train, it was far away, just barely visible. He stepped onto the tracks to wait.
And the train approached as he waited. The train kept getting closer, and Trevor felt hot tears stinging his eyes.
The train was just barely touching Trevor, but he felt a pair of arms grab him and yank him away from the tracks.
“Y-you idiot!” He heard a female voice yell. It was Emily.
She put his head in her chest as she cried, “What were you thinking?! You could’ve died!”
“That was the point, shithead!” He yelled back.
Emily’s grip tightened on him, and Trevor let the tears fall, “Shut up.”

“I’m glad you’re okay. The past is past, okay?” Emily finally said.
Trevor nodded, nuzzling into her chest.
“You adorable idiot,” she murmured.
Trevor kissed Emily. She had just saved his life, why not repay her that way?
