" Goodbye, Shadow Milk Cookie. "
Pure Vanilla mumbled out as he watched the hurt, fragile, broken beast of a cookie jump back into his portal.
He'd been through so much, yet he'd been so alone. He just wanted someone, it was clear that Candy Apple Cookie and Black Sapphire Cookie would never truly understand everything.
Not like how Pure Vanilla would.
—
Shadow Milk Cookie fell out of the portal, he had teleported to some distant land — unsure of where he was or his surroundings.
" Master! Eheheh! I'm SO glad you made it! I don't know what I'd do without you! ♡♡ " Candy Apple exclaimed, running over to Shadow Milk, before she was pulled back by Black Sapphire Cookie.
Shadow Milk Cookie was staring at his hands, shaking softly, he couldn't believe that Pure Vanilla had read him so easily. He'd just wanted his soul jam back, nothing else. Pure Vanilla meant nothing to him.
Right?
Right.
He had eyes on him, of his creations. His mind was a blur, he was the furthest from sane at the moment. He hated how he got tricked. He hated how he got played — although it had been impressive, yet, the truth still prevailed.
His eyes slowly looked up at the two, they seemed to be bickering, again. He looked back down.
How had he let Pure Vanilla push him around like that? How could he have let any of that happen? He was in control, surely, they weren't supposed to see through his deceit.
That insolent cookie of all, shouldn't have seen through the facade he wears. His words rung in his head.
' You're lonely. '
LONELY? PSSH. Shadow Milk Cookie wasn't lonely! He had these two, they served his every command, if anything — he was fulfilled with his life!
' I'm the only one who truly understands you, Shadow Milk. We are part of the same coin. '
Wrong.
Wrong.
Maybe he wasn't so wrong.
No. He was wrong. Pure Vanilla hadn't understood anything he had gone through, he didn't understand how it would've been to be trapped in THAT PRISON! He didn't know how it felt to slowly go insane from all the knowledge. He didn't know anything.
That dough for brains never understood, and no one ever would.
Only himself.
Maybe he was alone.
Even if he was alone, he couldn't help but think about how happy he was when Pure Vanilla lied to his face for the first time. The chess game, which had turned Pure Vanilla's friend's into actual chess pieces.
' No, I wouldn't. ' The chess piece hadn't moved.
He had felt his heart jump out of his chest, he felt connected, for once in his life — to another piece of dough.
And now? Well, he was even more alone than when he was trapped in that tree.
" My lord. "
He looked up, and saw Black Sapphire looking down at him, he seemed to be concerned.
" What happened back there? "
The question rung in his ears, and he got up. Smile. Just smile. Lie. That's what you're best at.
" Ohohoho! It seems that Pure Vanilla had fallen right into my trap. Don't you worry — I have a plan to get back at that filthy, pesky, cookie! " He sang out in a sing-songy tune.
He didn't have a plan. He didn't even hate that piece of dough. He was still in the middle of — whatever he was going through. Was this a panic attack? Was he going insane? No, no.
He'd get this pesky cookie out of his head, and he'd come up with a plan soon enough.
He had to.
There was no other choice.
Pure Vanilla, you don't know me at all, and you never will understand me.
I will never fall for your tricks again, you stole them from me in the end.
" Well, well, well! Let's get going, the show is never truly over! That, was just the first act! "
This was another obstacle, and he'd overcome it.
Until we meet again, Pure Vanilla
