    “Well, ” Eri starts, “about our age, I think? Ashy blond hair, violet eyes, looks a little like a model. I’ve thought about asking him to do a promo shoot with us, but he’s hard to pin down.”
    There is a flicker of recognition in Shiki’s expression. “Do you know his name?” she asks quietly.
    “That’s about the only thing I know about him,” Eri chuckles, “it’s Joshua.”
    Shiki stares at Eri as though she’s seen a ghost. Or perhaps as though Eri has seen a ghost, which might be more accurate.

    Fiona heads off with a wave, and he's left where he started - staring through a window into a nearly-empty kitchen, looking in on a life was never his and never will be. Inside, the robian sets bacon on the stovetop to fry and starts making toast, blissfully unaware of the hedgehog just outside. It's hard to tell on a robot, obviously, but he looks perfectly content with his life. Happy, even.

    Pathetic. 

    Or: Scourge avoids his problems, Fiona is exasperated, and Jules is mostly oblivious.

    There’s a poke on his cheek that has him grumbling, and when it’s followed by a complete hand on his face- he huffs.

    “Sonic.” His voice is deep with it’s morning sleepiness, and his eyes flicker open.

    Sonic moves his hand off of his face, and Shadow is able to get a good look at perked up ears along with a rapidly wagging tail.

    Something that he can’t stay irritated at.
