Silver sheathed his sword as he made a beeline for Sebek’s room. They had recently begun dating ever since Silver confessed his feelings in what was possibly the most awkward way ever.
“Sebek… I really… like… you,” Silver muttered, as he could feel his eyes slowly closing.
“Oy, Silver! You’re not seriously falling asleep while confessing your love, are you?” Sebek’s loud voice thundered, and Silver felt a pair of strong hands shake him by the shoulders.
Silver sighed as he remembered that day, and how Sebek angrily proclaimed he felt the same way, all while violently shaking Silver by his shoulders. He couldn’t help but let a visible smile quirk his lips, as he arrived at Sebek’s room, and gently knocked on the door. Sebek answered almost instantly, his hair didn’t have gel in it, so his green locks fell over his face.
“About time! What took you so long?” Sebek’s voice boomed as he stepped aside to let Silver in. A few Diasomnia students standing nearby jumped at the sound of Sebek’s voice, and Silver shot them an apologetic look.
As Silver stepped into the room, he felt a cold chill in the air, and he saw a small mountain of books on Sebek’s bed that he planned to read. He glanced over to his desk, to see a squirrel plushie lounging about, its little nose twitched as it groomed its plush fur. He smiled a bit, as he walked over to the plush, and gave it a small pet on the head, in turn, the plush nuzzled into his palm.
“Impressive?” Sebek smirked behind Silver. “As you know, that little squirrel helped me to victory! Plus, she protected me when I fell into a ravine!” Sebek puffed his chest out in pride, and Silver couldn’t help but chuckle, as he gave the squirrel plushie a pat on the head, as he inched toward Sebek.
“Quite impressive,” Silver murmured lowly, as he gently placed his hands on Sebek’s shoulders. Almost as if an instinct, Sebek’s hands flew to Silver’s waist, gripping him firmly yet softly as their eyes locked.
“Mm, please, praise me,” Sebek smirked in faux arrogance, Squirshie saw what they were doing, and she covered her eyes with her tiny paws. Silver chuckled as he was about to lean in for a kiss when he noticed something.
Malleus’s portrait. It was hanging on the wall, and the way his eyes were painted made it look as if he was staring directly at Silver. The almost playful smirk on his face as if he was saying, “Go ahead, Silver. I won’t judge.” And Silver felt VERY judged. Noticing his hesitation, Sebek froze, his face halfway to Silver’s.
“What’s up with you?” Sebek asked, pulling away to look at Silver’s expression fully. Silver winced.
“I feel quite… watched, so say the least,” Silver mumbled, as he could’ve sworn Malleus smirked even wider. Sebek looked at Silver in confusion, before trailing his line of sight to the portrait of Malleus.
“Ah, the portrait of our liege!” Sebek exclaimed, if he was a puppy, his tail would be wagging. “Don’t you like it?” He asked, beaming. Silver pursed his lips tightly, that was practically his older brother and Sebek’s idol, so he had no idea what to say.
“Erm, it’s… nice,” Silver hesitated, not breaking his eyes away from the portrait. He knew it wasn’t Malleus, but somehow, it felt like he was being watched by his older brother. Silver wished the portrait was Lilia, he would feel much better. He glanced at Sebek and said lowly, “Could we maybe do this somewhere else?” He asked, finally taking his gaze off the portrait.
“ELSEWHERE?” Sebek boomed, making Silver cringe. “My room with our liege’s portrait is the best place to be! I couldn’t think of anywhere else to do our intimate activities!” Sebek shouted indignantly, as he glared down at Silver who had to stop himself from shrinking in embarrassment.
“Sebek, please don’t shout that,” Silver requested in a low voice, as he couldn’t imagine the humiliation if someone heard that. Of course, it’s not as if Silver hadn’t overheard his fair share of… ahem, questionable deeds in the dorm. “It’s just that Malleus’s eyes are on me and…” Silver hesitated. Sebek huffed and he gently pulled Silver closer.
“Don’t worry, our real Waka-sama is at his gargoyle club, it’s not like he’ll come in.” Sebek grinned, as he slowly moved closer to Silver.
“Sebek,” Malleus’s voice cut in. Both Silver and Sebek let out startled yelps as they looked toward Sebek’s open door. Malleus stood in the doorway with his arms crossed. As soon as he saw Sebek carefully holding Silver in his arms, he smirked, an impish expression slowly creeping onto his face. “Ah, it appears as though I’ve come at a bad time. Please, continue your activities,” Malleus calmly said, but Silver could hear the teasing in his voice.
“Right away, sir!” Sebek shouts, and he proceeds to kiss Silver with vigor. Silver reciprocated without hesitation, but it took all his might not to scream, as Malleus stood and watched with a smile. A smile that practically said “Silver’s finally kissing Sebek! How joyous!” While Sebek passionately kissed him, Silver shot Malleus a look that translated to “get out.”
Thankfully, Malleus seemed to get the hint, and he left with a whirl of his cape. Sebek pulled away from Silver with a brilliant smile on his face, his fangs showing.
“That was quite invigorating, wouldn’t you say?” Sebek asked, his smile remaining in place. Silver wouldn’t quite use that word, considering he had to kiss Sebek in front of portrait Malleus and real Malleus.
“I don’t think I’ll be able to recover from that,” Silver breathlessly responded, not having the energy or vigor to do anything else. Having mini-Malleus and big-Malleus watch me was horrid! Silver thought. He doubted he would ever forget this day, and how Lilia would tease him ruthlessly if he found out.
It was official, no more kissing in Sebek’s room.
