There is a romance book Sebek likes.
It’s a historical set about 400 years ago, about a young fae noble and his childhood best friend, a human prince with hair of sunshine-gold. There's something sweet about childhood best friends to lovers. Easy familiarity breathed from their fingertips, someone who you didn't need to explain all your embarrassing moments to because they were there for all of them.
He finds himself longing for something like it.

Sebek trudges into the Diasomnia kitchen, sleep sticking to him with the winter cold.
"Are you struggling to sleep?" Father asks. "You could always try cuddling with Silver again," he teases.
Sebek's face flushes a warm red. "I couldn't possibly - such a thing would be improper!"
No it wouldn't, Silver thinks. What does it matter? Why does it matter?

Sebek's hair is long. Really long. Long-enough-to-reach-his-hips-and-then-some long. It's curly too, pretty and bouncy. Sometimes he ties it up with a ribbon. Sometimes he leaves it free-flowing.
Silver's personal favourite though, has to be his hair when its wet.

"What are you wearing?!"
Silver looks down at his bunny rabbit cardigan and starry leggings and frilly dress decorated with drooping bows and thinks there's really nothing wrong with it.
Sebek runs up to him, grabbing his hand and immediately drags him back inside the house.
"I can't believe Master Lilia would let you greet people looking like such a mess! Come with me!"
