The scent of fresh roses was thick in the air, cloying but not demanding, like falling asleep in a flower field and the breeze just happened to cast them your way.
He blinks, eyes sticky and sight blurry. Sebek was curled into his body, sleeping deeply, nuzzling into the exposed skin his rucked up sleep shirt offered. His scales scratch lightly against his skin, breath gentle against his chest.
He pulls his shirt the rest of the way off.
