Work Text:
I walk along Truham Grammar's unfamiliar halls, pulling uncomfortably at the collar of my school shirt. It feels too big, I tried to tell Mum but she wouldn't listen. Said it gave me room to grow. The way it is bunched up under my blazer makes me feel all itchy.
I feel nervous in this big new school.
I miss my primary school, and my friends who have gone somewhere different.
What if I don't make any new friends?
I walk into the classroom and sit down. The boy next to me turns, and smile.
"Hey, I'm Tao."
"Charlie."
"Cool."
