Ren stirred his cup of coffee, glancing at the glove on his table. That same glove, and yet he was never able to give it back to him. To Akechi.
Where did he go?
His expression became solemn, as he lifted the glove into his hand. He cherished everything that happened during his time at Tokyo, he really did. But when he saw the smallest glimpse of what looked like Akechi, right before the train went off.. Ren felt the slightest hope that Akechi was still alive, that he could see him again when he visits Tokyo again sometime.
But why would he daydream? Akechi has been missing for months. Ren set the glove down gently back onto his desk, as he looked back in his room. He reminisced about the time he would practice asking out Akechi to be his valentine in the attic, while Mona would judgementally stare at him. The memory almost brought a smile on his face. But now, that won’t ever happen.
“I want you to be my valentine, Akechi,” he muttered to himself, “when I see you again.”
