"So, you can read sheet music?"
"Apparently."
"But you can't play?"
"Not even the triangle," the Marquis gave her that smile that made Juliette think there wasn't a single thought happening between his ears.
"I can't play anything either," it was a bit obvious, but she said it anyway. "But I can sing! Maybe you can as well!" She batted her eyelashes.
He didn't think he could do it, but Juliette was ever so persistent, and he couldn't deny her.
"Alright," and he burst into song.
She had to run out of the room to preserve her poor, poor ears.
