Nico jogged down the steps into the Forge, her attention on the artifact she was carrying. When she reached the bottom of the steps, she looked up, ready to call out to Doctor Strange, and then stopped dead in her tracks.
Tony had Doctor Strange backed up against his research bench and was kissing him. Aggressively. Although, judging by the hand Doctor Strange had fisted in Tony’s hair and the way he was leaning into the kiss, it was very much mutual.
Silently, Nico backed out of the Forge, turned, and stalked into the common room.
“Okay,” she announced to everyone gathered there. “Was anyone going to tell me that Tony and Doctor Strange figured their shit out, or was I just supposed to walk in on them making out in the Forge myself?”
There was a moment of silence.
“What?” Blade asked finally. Nico just waved at the Forge entrance behind her, triggering something of a stampede. Peter and Robbie actually jumped over the couch to go get a look.
Nico turned to watch them goggle at the show. This wasn’t the news she would have picked, but it was kind of nice to be the first to know.
