Chapter 1: Part 1: Robby
Chapter Text
Robby and Tory weren't exactly trying to hide their relationship. It started off as something that was shared between themselves. But the longer they were together, the less they cared about everyone else.
Neither one of them were the type to announce their business to the world, especially Tory, but eventually they just stopped tiptoeing around each other in front of other people. Neither one of them wanted to put in the effort anymore.
They just wanted to be themselves.
Back before Silver got exposed for cheating in the All Valley, the entire Cobra Kai dojo caught onto what was happening between them when they noticed Robby hanging around at the dojo after he quit. It didn't even matter anyways. Neither one of them were in the dojo anymore, not that they could if they wanted to.
The last person that actually mattered seemed to be oblivious of their relationship. Even with Robby currently living with his dad, Johnny was too blind to see that they were dating. Or maybe he just didn't care.
Robby's mom knew something was up between them before they knew themselves. When Robby asked his mom how she knew, she just replied with "I could feel your guys' chemistry from a mile away". Hell, she even had the talk with Robby before they first kissed. Meanwhile, Johnny could be popping a beer open in the living room unaware that his son would be making out with Tory in his bedroom. For the fourth time.
Since Robby and Tory got back together, they found themselves tiptoeing around people again. Except, this time it was in Robby's own home. They didn't mean for it to happen. Robby wanted to tell his dad. He used to dream about bonding with his dad over stuff like this, drama and girl trouble, but Johnny didn't make it easy for them.
The first time Johnny saw them hanging out together was when he was picking up Robby from the waterpark. He confronted Robby about it in the car and said something along the lines of "be careful hanging around that Tory chick".
Had Robby not just broken up with her, he might've defended her at that remark. He knew it was coming from a place of concern because of his history with her and Miguel's breakup. But it just made telling his dad harder.
How his dad didn't notice that they were dating was a mystery for the ages.
"I'm gonna go grab some dinner with Carmen and Miguel" Johnny's voice booms through the apartment without even having to yell. He pauses for a moment to think if he should invite his son before adding on. "You sure you don't wanna join?"
Robby looks up from his phone to see his dad's head peeking through his door and into his room. "I'm good."
His eyes immediately go back to his phone, quickly moving his thumbs to text Tory to come over. He saw this as an opening for them to hang out.
Johnny has been putting more effort recently into hanging out with Robby since the news of his and Carmen's pregnancy. Robby could tell his dad didn't want to him to feel left out, which he appreciated. But after getting back together with Tory, it's only made it harder for them to hang out with him hanging out with his dad and her working all the time.
Robby hears some keys jingling followed by the door opening and closing, telling him that Johnny just left.
It only takes a couple of minutes of Robby scrolling through TikToks on his phone before he hears the door opening to the sound of his girlfriend's voice. "I came as soon as I got your text"
Robby immediately exits his room to meet his girlfriend in the living room, ready to greet her with a gentle kiss.
Tory closes the door from the inside, and turns locking eyes with Robby saying "I missed you." right before he goes in for a kiss.
"I missed you too." Robby hums after pulling away from the kiss smiling, before going back for more. Only Tory is the one to pull away this time, striding towards his couch to collapse in it. As she falls onto the couch her body is splayed onto the entire surface area without leaving room for anybody else.
"I'm so goddamn tired" She complains as Robby walks behind the couch leaning most of his body weight on his hands perched at the back of the couch.
Tory quit her old day job after her boss was starting to get a little too handsy and managed to find another job. The catch is: she has to work early mornings. So, for the past week, Tory has been waking up at 4AM starting work before she has to go to school. At least she had some more free time to herself after school.
"What are you looking at?" Tory says softly.
"Nothing" Robby hums to himself walking around sit on the arm of the couch.
Tory starts to go on about her day at work complaining about every little thing even though she's glad she managed to get a job. "...and then Piper was like 'let me cover for you', which gave me the afternoon off so I thought I'd might as well spend it with you."
"Oh you 'might as well'?" Robby teases her with a small smirk daring to form on his face. He twists her his body to face her and leans over to face his girlfriend eye to eye. Their little staring contest is over almost instantly as Tory's small giggle cuts the silence before Robby closes the ditance between them, giving her a spiderman kiss. As they seperate, her head lifts off of the couch a tiny bit chasing his mouth for more, but Robby seems to have a different agenda. "Let's watch something instead."
Robby picks up the remote beside her to turn on the tv and starts to scroll on Netflix to find something for the two of them to watch.
"What about stranger things?" Tory asks with an innocent look on her face.
"Like we ever end up watching it." Robby replies, smirking at her to remind her of the many times they genuinely tried to watch the show but ended up making up on his couch. His netflix accounts been stuck on Season 1, Episode 1 for months now, and it's not planning on changing anytime soon.
"And whose fault is that?" Tory rebuttals, as she's always been the open to sugest the show. The first time, she genuinely wanted to watch it. However, since she found out that Robby isn't remotely interested in the concept of it, she suggests it every time she wants to make out. But it's not like she'll ever admit that out loud.
"Guilty." Robby says gladly.
"Well, I want to watch it" she says reaching over to grab the remote from Robby, but he doesnt seem to let go. Instead, he pulls it further away from her, inadvertently dragging her body closer towards him by result
"Robby." Tory demands with a voice that would tell him to cut it off or else, but in this case the 'or else' is sounding a little less threatening and more seductive. Oh, how he missed this.
When couples would go from calling each other their names to babe, baby or pet names, they went from calling each other Nichols and Keene to their respective first names. Something about it feels more genuine and personal then stupid pet names or nicknames. Its just something about them calling each their names is so different than someone else calling them by their name.
After exchanging glances, Robby surrenders and finally lets go of the remote leaving the decision to Tory. She aims the remote at the tv and selects Stranger Things before getting back into her position, this time lying on her side. As the Netflix logo appears on the screen, Robby gets up to walk to the kitchen
"Wha- ?" Tory starts as whipping her head around to see where he's going, "Robby where are you going?"
He doesn't say anything. Instead, he answers by waving a bag of popcorn at her and pops it in the microwave before returning back to her on the couch. As he reaches Tory, he playfully pretends to shove her off the couch to make space for him. Scoffing at him, Tory pretends to act mad and that sparks a wrestling match between them.
Robby launches himself ontop of her, playfully pinning her down, trapped between his body and the couch. Stuck with her hands in his grasp and nowhere to move, Tory hesitantly accepts defeat and stops trying to fighting back.
"We're missing the show." Robby states.
"Now, you want to watch it?"
As he leans in to kiss her again, the loud infuriating beeps from the microwave goes off, reminding them about the popcorn he put in what felt like a second ago.
Groaning, Robby regretfully rolls off of her and gets up to go grab the popcorn for the both of them as he hears Tory yawn behind him. Tory's eyes follow Robby to the kitchen, in turn moving her head and body so that she's lying on her side, her back against the back of the couch. Without Robby there to keep her up and entertained, her eyelids start to get heavier and the feeling of lip-gloss on them grows stronger.
By the time Robby gets back, he finds Tory splayed on her side with hair in her face, sound asleep in the depths of the couch. He cant help but think she looks adorable when shes sleeping.
Smiling to himself, Robby puts the bowl on the table in front of the couch. Lifting up her right arm, he lies on his back in the free space of the couch making sure he wont fall off. Tory's hand drops on his chest and she snuggles into his shoulder, as robby turns the volume down on the tv and closes his eyes.
---
The clicking of the door is enough to wake up Robby. Opening his eyes, he slowly starts to recollect the events that lead to him ending up there. Suddenly now aware of Tory's body weight on his right side, he doesn't want to wake her up
"I thought I left this door locked." Johnny's confused voice muffles from the other side of the door.
As the door opens, Robby's eyes are met with Johnny's and then seconds later, Carmen's.
Johnny utterly confused why his son is cuddling with his other son's ex girlfriend on their couch instinctively mutters "the hell is this" without thinking.
"Johnny!" Carmen lightly says smacking him. They exchange silent glances, communicating with each other. After a brief moment, it seems like Carmen convinced Johnny to try again.
As Robby blinks his eyes, staring at this encounter unfolding in front of him. The longer he stares, the more he's reminded of the position he's in right now and the fact that he's been keeping it a secret from the people standing in front of him.
"Um.." Johnny starts trying to collect his thoughts to figure out what to say. Clearing his throat, he decided on speaking in an authoritative voice. "Wanna tell me why-"
Robby shushes him almost immediately.
"Could you be any louder?" he reflexively says. After seeing the look on his dads face to his response, he cautiously continues "Look, she was busy last night and barely got any sleep. I just don't wanna wake her up".
Robby then starts carefully lifting her arm to get up off the couch, so he can have a proper conversation with his dad.
"Busy?" Johnny raised his eyebrows at the thought of his son sneaking her in at nights to do GOD KNOWS WHAT!
"Dad," Robby beckons. Still holding onto her arm, he eagerly props a pillow in his place and lays her arm down onto that instead, hoping she'll stay asleep undisturbed. "Can we talk in the bedroom"
Johnny sighs in agreement not wanting to wake up the sleeping girl on the couch. Robby motions to his dad and Carmen to follow him into the bedroom.
As they follow him into the room, Robby sits on his bed while Carmen closes the door behind them.
"Dad, nothing happened we just fell asleep watching Stranger Things," Robby explains, "Thats all."
"I dont know what type of strange things you were watching but --" he cuts his line of thought and realized that he caught his son with a girl. And not just any girl, Tory. And they looked pretty comfortable almost like they've been dating for a while.
"Wait, wait, wait.. hold on a second," Johnny rambles trying to piece everything toegther in his head "are you guys, like, a thing?".
"Well-" Robby begins to explain before getting cut off by an aggressively confsued Johnny, "-Since when?"
"Um abo-"
"-How long has it been goin on?"
"A few mo-"
"..is it serious?"
"DAD" Robby finally interjects loudly.
"Johnny let him talk" Carmen says tugging on Johnnys arm gesturing for Robby to finally get his words out.
"So, we started hanging out after prom, but didnt officially become a thing until a couple days before the All Valley tournament" Robby clarifies answering most of his dad's questions.
"Wait, wasn't the All Valley Tournament months ago?" Carmen asks moreso to Johnny.
Robby could literally seee the gears turning in his dad's head as Johnny was now thinking back to the times he saw them hanging out. Were they dating that entire time?
"Wait so you guys were together back when I picked you up from the waterpark?" Johnny asks lifting his right hand to scratch the back of his head awkwardly. Slowly remembering what he said to Robby about Tory in the car afterwards.
"Uh.. we actually broke up."
Johnny must have had his expression written on his face cause Robby picked up on this and continued on explaining, "I broke up with her because she was still apart of Cobra Kai. And then we got back together the night Silver got arrested."
Johnny's expression softens as he's piecing the picture together, but then a sudden thought hits him and he finally replies with "Why didn't you say anything?"
"I mean, you didnt make it easy," Robby starts, "It's not like you weren't vocal about how you felt about Tory. And then as time went on, I figured you would have caught on by now"
"If this is about what I said at the water park, I was just trying to look out for you. I saw how things ended with her and Miguel before, and I didn't want you to go through that if I could help it"
Robby's demeanor changes from a defensive to a relaxed vibe after that, "I appreciate that but dad, this is different. You can trust me"
"Hey," Johnny says to make sure his son doesn't get the wrong impression "I do trust you"
This came as a new piece of information to Robby and helped ease him a bit more.
"Besides, I never said I don't like Tory. The girls a badass. Did you forget she used to be my student?"
'Right' Robby thinks to himself. Way back when he was crashing at the larusso's and his dad was still a sensei at cobra kai. But a lot of things have changed since then, and there hasn't been any bad blood between them for a while. Robby and Tory probably don't even have to sneak around if they wanted to be public now, based off of how good his dad's taking it.
As Johnny sees these gears turning in his son's head —more speficially that Robby could invite Tory over any time without having to sneak around anymore— he quickly interrupts his thought process before it can form the thought. "But, that doesn't mean I'm cool with her coming over whenever she wants"
"It's not like she can anyway." Robby replies a bit too quickly, "She works two jobs so she's busy most of the time. She finally had the night off, so I invited her over"
Before Johnny can misinterpret another thing Robby says, Carmen quicky makes a suggestion, "Maybe we can set some ground rules".
"Yes, I like that" Johnny starts before listing his rules, "Number one: Don't go inviting her to our house without telling me."
"Number two: when she's here, answer my calls" Johnny pointedly stares at Robby and then to his phone when he says this one. Picking up on this not so subtle gesture, Robby pulls his phone out of his pocket and finds a missed call from his dad he did not remember having the ringer on for. Suddenly, he feels a pang of guilt from not keeping his ringer on now.
"We wanted to invite you to get ice cream with us. Miguel's waiting in the car" Carmen explains.
"Yeah, but since you didn't answer, I figured we'd make you get out of the house anyway." Johnny finishes her thoughts, "Just didnt expect to come back to see you lying underneath your girlfriend"
"OH, and no more funny business around me or under my roof"Johnny hurredly states laying down the final ground rule. If he really was that oblivious to their relationship, he doesn't want to think about all the time they could've been hooking up in the room next to him. "If you're gonna do it, do it at your moms."
"Ew gross, dad" Robby complains.
"Oh real mature. I'm trying to have an adult conversation here" Johnny says the second part moreso to carmen than to Robby.
"That's a new one" Carmen mutters under her breath.
"Just.. tell me you've been using protection" Johnny asks.
"DAD"
"Robby."
Robby looks towards Carmen giving her a look to see if she could help get him out of this conversation with his dad but all he gets from her is a "Dont look at me".
"We haven't even done anything"Yet. Robby finally replies.
"Okay.. then promise me you WILL use protection." Johnny says feeling more comfortable that he hasn't missed out on a lot of his son's first relationship. "I don't want you knocking her up like I did with your mom."
"Oh my god." Robby says putting his hands over his head. This is the last thing he wanted to talk to his dad about today. He couldn't imagine having a kid with tory this young. Hell, neither of them might not even want kids by the time people would want them to.
"It's important that you stay safe though" Carmen snaps making him pay attention, now more involved in the conversation suddenly now that it includes his sex life.
"Yeah, plus you don't need a kid screwing up your life this early. You still got years ahead of you." Johnny rambles on, gesturing with his hands to emphasize the reality of the words, "Kids are way ahead of you."
"Or not. If they're not for you than that's totally fine." Carmen adds on, and then Robby sees a light appear on top of his dads head at her comment before he continues on for her "Even more reason to wear a condom!"
"I'll be safe." Robby says courtly wanting this conversation to end. It was bad enough he had to endure it with his dad, but to get a hearing of this through his dad and his girlfrined, who happens to be Miguels mom. Well, thats something he never thought would happen to him.
"Good" Johnny says finally wanting to put an end to the conversation as well.
"Wow, that was way more intense than the talk I had with mom" Robby says with a chuckle trying to shift the tone into something lighter but then quickly regrets his words when he sees his dads eyes widen, "What?? SO you two-"
"No" Robby says almost immediately. He didn't need his dad knowing his regret of a hookup he had a while ago. He never went that far with sam, she was still hooked on Miguel for him to want to do anything with her.
"Then why did?" Johnny says confused.
"She picked up on me and Tory earlier than you did. Like way before we even noticed it our selves." he explains. Technically Robby's not lying, he's just not telling the full truth. His dad doesnt need to know the details of what would otherwise kill him. Thankfully, Johnny doesn't pick up on this and begins to focus on the fact that he wasn't able to notice this thing that happened between his son and his student earlier then his ex wife.
"She just wanted to cover the bases." Robby reassures his dad for not being too oblivious, "Oh and if mom asks, we already had this talk months ago"
"Thank fuck, you almost gave me a heart attack" Johnny says as Carmen's trying to calm him down.

Chapter Text
"Hello?" Miguel bursts through the front door. It's been about 15 mins since his mom and Johnny went to get Robby, and Miguel started wondering what the hell took them so long.
Tory springs up at the sudden noise from the front door. Realizing her arms resting on a pillow instead of her boyfriend she quietly mutters to herself, "Where did he go?"
"Tory?"
Tory looks up and finds herself face to face with someone she didn't expect herself to see, Miguel. She shouldn't be surprised that he'd come in unannounced, Johnny's practically his dad at this point, she'd just surprised they havent crossed paths sooner. It takes her a couple seconds to remember the last time she's seen him. Oh, right.
"What uh-" he starts wondering where he's gonna go with this, "What are you doing here?"
Tory doesn't answer him right away. Miguel looks around and spots her bag on the ground near the couch, the popcorn bowl on the table and the tv screen playing an episode of Stranger Things on low volume. The sight of the show reminds him of when Tory used to try to convince him to watch it back when they were dating. Finally turning back to face her, he's suddenly aware of her cuddling a pillow.
"Do you really need me to answer that?" Tory asks dryly both now aware of why she's there.
"So.." Miguel trails, trying to figure out his words, "You and Robby?" he finishes with a light tease in his voice and an amused face. Who would've thought?
"Was it not already obvious?" Tory gently asks genuinely wondering if he was as oblivious as Johnny, since she and Robby stopped pretending otherwise in public.
"Um, Sam kind of mentioned it before, but I didnt really think much of it" Miguel explains, "Honestly, I thought it was more of a one off thing."
She doesn't even blame him for thinking that, the Tory she was when they were dating wouldn't believe that she was hooking up with Robby, her enemy at the time's boyfriend, either. They practically seem like two different people now.
"Besides, I never really saw you and Robby hang out." He adds on. Now that he's thinking about it, he hasn't seen her at all lately. "You kind of disappeared after the night with Silver."
She wonders if the reason he brought it up was if things between them were still weird. The last time they had a conversation, just the two of them, was when he broke up with her at her old sushi job.
"I didn't mean to." Tory whipsers, answering him truthfully. Wwanting to reassure him there's no harsh feelings rom her side she continues, "I would've hung out with Robby and you guys if I wasn't so busy. I've been working two jobs lately."
"Oh. So, how are things with your mom?"
"Could be better." Tory confides in him, "But it's not as bad as they used to be. I just want to be prepared for when things go south."
She's reminded of their last conversation back at the sushi restaurant. When he told her that she needed to get some help, but she brushed him off over and over again, refusing to ask for help. At the time it felt like he was constantly patronizing her, it made her feel like she really was crazy if she needed help. But things have changed a lot since then.
Since Tory reached out to Amanda for help, she was hooked up with a therapist, Dr. Hiller, and she hadn't realize how much it's been helping her until lately.
"I'm not sure if you still care but uh," she says treading the waters to see if she's really going to commit to telling him. Tory looks up to meet his eyes looking back at her expectedly, and she gets nervous again. Why would she even bring it up? He probably doesn't even care anymore. They've both moved on and she's probably an afterthought to anyone.
"..but?" Miguel gently prods, but in a way that made her feel like she didn't need to explain.
With a deep breath, Tory pushes all her previous thoughts away regaining herself. "I've been seeing someone."
"I thought we already established that." Miguel remarks with a small chuckle.
"No, I mean, I've been seeing a therapist" She clarifies. There. Now it's all out in the open and there's no room for confusion.
"Really? How did that happen?" he says not quite believing it, but in a more positive way than she could've expected from him. Tory lets out a deep bretah she didn't know she was holding at the sound of this.
"Sam's mom actually." Tory confides as if she was spilling a secret, "She noticed I was struggling and really helped me out."
"Did I just hear that right? You finally let someone help?" Miguel teases her, trying not to bring up Sam or her mom incase it might ruin this moment of peace.
"I know, I wouldn't have expected it myself either" Tory replies falling back into a comfortable banter.
"Yeah, I'm just glad it happened for you" Miguel says truthfully, which takes Tory aback. She didn't realize Miguel still cared about her after everything that went down between them and their dojos. She knew it was mostly water under the bridge by now, but it still felt like there was a wall between the two of them.
Tory finally settles on a "Thank you."
"For what?" Miguel asks confusedly.
"For caring. For trying to help me when we were together." Tory tells him. It's easy to be honest with him and shes thankful that didnt change after everything, "I know I can be a lot sometimes"
"You're only human." Miguel replies with a small smile.
With the aftermath of this conversation now settling in the air, her chest feels a lot lighter than it did before. She feels like she's able to fully be with Robby without any more guilt. It feels like she finally mended the bridge between them that she didn't mean to burn down.
The creak of the door behind them brings her back to reality, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"You're up already?", Tory hears her boyfriend call from the direction of the creak.
"The funniest thing happened actually." she replies, "I woke up expecting my boyfriend to be here, only to find out I've been abandoned"
An apologetic look flashed across Robbys face, before admitting "I was gonna sneak back in before you woke up."
"It's not the same." Tory humouringly replies as she gets off of the couch to go in for a kiss only to find Johnny and Carmen behind him. She goes to retreat before Robby pulls her in for a hug.
As they part from the hug, Robby goes back in to give her a small peck on the lips leaving a very confused Tory.
"They know." Robby answers as if he was reading her mind and goes to intertwine his hand with hers. He leans over to whipser in Tory's ear quickly, "You're welcome by the way. I saved you from an interrogation.". This in turn makes her giggle and resulting in leaving Johnny suspicious about what the two were whispering about. However, the only sound heard was a small snort from Miguel which makes the couple tear their gaze away from each other and towards him.
"What's so funny?" Robby accusingly asks Miguel ready to defend himself and Tory, now suddenly aware of Miguel's presence in his house. His hand unintentionally gets tighter around Tory's hand, subconsiously jerking her closer to him now feeling a tinge of jeaousy.
"Relax dude" Miguel replies, his hands up in surrender to show he's only teasing in light fun, "I just never thought I'd see Tory giggle."
Tory rolls her eyes at this no doubt, muttering a 'shut up' under her breath but loud enough for Miguel to hear.
Although, Robby sees right through this and just stares at her realizing he's the only one who really got to know and see her unlike anyone else. Over the time he's known her, he's gradually got to know her a lot more than Miguel has, hell than anyone has at this point. He's positive that he and Tory both know he's the only one who's seen her this vulnerable and real. Although, the feeling he got around her wasn't like how he ever felt with Sam. With Tory, it actually feels like love.
"Oh, what now?" she playfully teases Robby after noticing the look on his face. She knows that look. It's the look he makes right before he picks on something that she said or did and gushes over it. She knows it's always entirely too cheesy for her taste and makes sure he knows it. Although while she'll never admit it, it's starting to grow on her. Torybraces for what he'll undoubtedly bring up this time, wondering if he's aware their surrounded by other people who just found out about their relationship.
"Nothing." he says surprising her, which makes her almost melt on the spot because she knows that he really means everything. He moves his other hand, that's not occupying hers, to her neck and leans in to give her a kiss.
Completely forgetting the existence of the other people in the room, she was once hyper aware of seconds ago, she lets herself lean forward into the kiss for just a couple seconds.
Johnny loudly clears his throat in attempt to cut it short, and succeeds making the couple seperate feeling a bit awkward. However, it's worth it for the chance for them not to have to hide thier relationship around the people that Robby loves the most. Apart from her of course.
"Sensei Lawrence, Miss Diaz" Tory says in acknowledgement, as Robby just groans and leans his head back on the couch.
"Nichols" he replies back with the same respect they do in the dojo, while Carmen goes for a different greeting, "Oh no you don't have to be so formal with me, Tory. It's nice to see you again."
"You too Miss Diaz " Tory says, meanning it. She can remember the last time they met, also being the first time they met. It was way back when her and Miguel were dating and they got caught making out on his couch. Oh, how the tables have turned since then.
"Please call me Carmen", she replies as Robby and Miguel engage in conversation in the backrgound. When Johnny's distracted by something on his phone he can't figure out how to use, Carmen drops her voice quieter to make it so that only Tory could hear her. "I saw you at Dr. Hillier office the other day when I went in for my appointment"
Tory's body freezes, scared of what Carmen might say. She knew it was too good to be true, for things to be so nice after everything that has happened in the past year and how things ended with Miguel. But in contrary to Tory's beliefs, Carmen surprises her and just comforts her with a friendly smile after realizing Tory's body and demeanour became sitff and defensive.
"I just wanted to let you know that, if you ever need to talk about anything I'm here."
"Thank you." Tory replies truthfully, it's been so long since she's had someone in her corner like this. Plus it's nice to know that someone else has her back that isn't Sam's mom. As much as Amanda has helped her in the past, there's always this small feeling in the back of her mind that a part of her resents Tory from how she treated Sam in the past. Especially now that Carmen's becoming more of a mother figure to her boyfriend.
"I'll remember that" Tory adds on, wanting to make it known that she really appreciates having another person in her corner that she's able to talk to.
"So, I think we're gonna head back out and get ice cream. You guys want to join?" Carmen asks again clasping her hands as she addresses both Tory and Robby. Robby's attention is now diverted from Miguel onto his mother, and before he can answer yes he looks over to Tory first to see what she's thinking.
They lock eyes for a second, and he notices that she doesn't have the social battery to deal with people today. He can tell that she just needs some alone time today so he decides to decline on this offer after all. "Thanks, but I think we're gonna pass. Another time though!"
"Okay, we'll leave you to it then," Carmen replies before giving her godbyes and heading out towards the car.
"Have fun!" Miguel tells them as he grabs Johnny's arm dragging him towards the door eager to finish their family date at the ice cream shop
"No, dont!" he lightly smacks Miguel on the head for even bringing up that possibility and possibly planting a seed in their head. As Miguel starts to close the door on them, Johnny manages to get out his ground rules about keeping his ringer on this time before getting dragged away.
As the door shuts, Robby's attention is now diverted back fully onto Tory, "So..."
"So..."
"What did you and Miguel talk about?" Robby asks first surprising Tory. Although, should she really be surprised at this point.
"Jealous much?" She quips back lightheartedly.
"Just curious," Robby says innocently, "I know how things were left between you too."
"I think we're weirdly okay. We cleared up the air between us."
"Good." Robby replied as he goes in for quick kiss. As he pulls back from the kiss, he feels her hands yank on his collar pulling him back in for more. "Oh we're doing this now?" he teases under his breath in between kisses.
"Shut up." She quips back feeling a smile form on her face, before going back in for more. As he kisses her this time, he can feel her smile against his lips which makes him chuckle against her lips a bit.
As Tory wraps her arms around his neck, she starts shuffling their bodies away from the door. She attempts to navigate in the room with just her sense of what she can remember from the not many times she's been there. After a couple seconds of her feet shuffling, she feels the side of her left foot hit the couch. As she goes to sit down on the couch, bringing Robby with her, he pulls her back up.
"Nope, not making that mistake again" he explains with a playful tone. He retracts his hands from around her waist so hes able to offer one of them to her, which she more than happily takes. The second she laid her hand on his, he held onto it only to quickly drag her towards his room. When they get there, Robby settles for sitting on the edge of bed to get Tory into his lap, eager to continue making out.
"Oh? Eager are we?" she playfully teases him as she straddles him and settles into his lap.
"What? You started it." he says with a smirk.
She rolls her eyes at his snappy remark before cupping her hands around his neck going in for another kiss. This time its different. It's gentle, unlike many of their other kisses, allowing them to fully engulf themselves in it.
Even after the million times they've already kissed, or done god knows what, the sparks still linger between each one of those moments. Too many times they've been almost caught and they had to stop what they were doing or the other had to hide somewhere, but this time they're free.
Tory starts to feel a funny feeling in her stomach, butterflies threatening to appear and swarm her body with a fuzzy feeling soon after. She's relived this feeling many times before and boy has she never gotten sick of it.
And this time, they aren't going away anytime soon.
Notes:
Now I know there's not the most Tory and Robby content in this one, but I wrote it with the intention of developing the interactions between the couple and other characters that we never got to see on screen. I swear there was barely any closure between Tory and Miguel, and we were so robbed of that so I added on this part to give myself my own closure lol. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed
If you want more romance keenry content, check out my other fic :)
