"Okay, calm down. I can do this..." Red Son murmured nervously at the alter waiting for his bride to be.
Red Son is dressed in red traditional wedding garments with yellow outlines, alongside his family insignia. His hair was nicely braided with jewelry in it. His glamour was down so his bull features were in full effect.
This was it, the big day. The wedding between the Monkie Kid and Prince Red Son.
"I can do this....I can do this...." He chanted softly, beads of sweat rolled down his face and his foot tapping.
'I can't do this! What if she changed her mind? What if all of this was too soon? I knew I should have waited a few more years to ask!'
"So, you getting nervous?" Macaque asked as stepped out from a shadow portal, standing beside Red Son. The groom yelped, being started out his train of thoughts. He quickly composed himself, smoothing his wardrobe.
"No, yes? I mean, perhaps a little." He answered, fiddling with his sweaty hands.
Macaque hummed, shrugging his shoulders. "That's natural. I remember being nervous at my wedding too. Boy I was constantly throwing up cause I was nervous." He chuckled in amazement as he remembered his own wedding day with Wukong.
"I...Uh, were you ever, afraid of...messing up or something going horribly wrong?" Red asked.
"Look here lil nephew, it's not about messing up or doing something wrong. If you love her, then that's all. Love recognized no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leap fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope."
Red's jade eyes sparkled in amazement at the warrior's poetry. All of his nervousness about getting married was suddenly vanished away. Perhaps all that theater nonsense he always talk about isn't so bad.
He opened his mouth to say something, until Macaque let out a crack. "Unless you're going to be one of those grooms who ditches and leaves the bride at the altar?" He grinned. The bull demon's eyes grew wide and gasped dramatically at the warrior's implication.
"What!? H-How dare you! I love Xiaotian more than anything! I would never dream of leaving her!" Red Son exclaimed, glaring daggers at the simian. Laughter can be heard as Wukong entered the scene, with a baby sling around him.
"Ease up nephew, Liu Ér is only teasing you. Daddy's just messing with him, right son?~" Wukong cooed, poking his Chao-Xing's cheek, making him giggle.
"I hate the both of you..." Red grumbled in irritation.
Soon after Red Son calmed himself down, everyone settled in and was seated. The doors at the end of the hall creaked open. MK was walking down the aisle, Bai-He and Rumble walking ahead and throwing the flowers.
She's wearing a traditional red wedding dress, a Cheongsam. With yellow designs and the Bull family crest stitched on the front. Her hair was styled in a bun with a rose clip attached to it, she wore red lipstick with matching eyeliner.
'She's...Beautiful~' Red Son thought lovingly in his head, his face flushed red as he just couldn't keep his eyes off his beautiful she looked.
Tang, playing the officiator began the ceremony, After a few words from him it was time for the vows, Red Son decided to go first.
"Xiaotian I loved you since the first day I lay my eyes on you. All my life I've wanted nothing else but to dominate the world with my family. But...then I met you. I have fought by your side throughout numerous battles and I want to continue doing so. With you, by your side."
Macaque heard sniffling, he turned his head to see Iron Fan shedding a few tears, the shadow monkey hummed as he held Chao-Xing in his arms and handing him to her. "Wanna hold him?"
The ex celestial wiped her tears away, glaring slightly at him. "I don't wish to hold your-" She stopped when she instantly held him in her arms. She immediately whimpered and cuddled the baby monkey, humming.
MK couldn't hold back her tears as she went next, "Red, if I'm being honest. I never pictured myself getting married. At all! I always thought I be the normal delivery girl slash hero of the city. But. I'm glad Im here...With you," She took his hands, squeezing them.
"There there, my sweet Pigsy~" Mei hummed, rubbing his back as he cried a bit.
"I ain't crying." The pig demon grumbled, wiping away stray tears. Sandy snickered, patting him on the back. "Sure you are, old friend."
"You have affected my life in more ways than none. I want to share my life with you, forever and til the next of our lifetime." She finished, smiling lovingly at him.
Tang took off his glasses, wiping away his tears as well then continued. "Do you MK take Red Son to be your husband?"
"I do."
"And do you Red Son take MK to be your wife?"
"Yes."
"Then I happily pronounce you husband and wife," He smiled happily. He clapped his hands and Savage comes over with a silver tray of two cups and a pot of traditional tea.
Both Red Son and MK took a sip of their tea, with MK sighing in satisfaction, she then tossed the tea cup aside and took Red Son by the waist and eagerly pressed her lips to his, dipping him down low.
This took the flame demon by surprise by her sudden action, but quickly relaxed as he kissed back, his tail wagging happily.
The whole group all let out cheers, applauding for the now newly wedded couple.
After the ceremony it was time for the dance between the groom and bride. Red and MK walked onto a dance floor and stood next to each other as they got ready for the dance.
Bai-He stood out in the garden, smiling as she held a flower in her hand. "Ah, love. It's calm and...Sunny! You brought me sunshine when I only saw rain," she recited a poem, takes a whiff at the flower, sighing. "You brought me laughter when I only felt pain." She finished, flicking the flower away. She pulls a mic from behind her and sings.

Rumble and Savage trotted their way to her and danced around, singing along as the chorus.

MK and Red Son swayed back with Red leading. They both smiled at each other.

As the song comes to an end, Red gives MK one more twirl, then dip her gracefully as the crowd cheers. He smiled down at her and brings her in a kiss. As they part, Red Son brings her up from the dip and stares deep into her brown eyes.
"I love you, my stupid little noodle girl~"
"I love you too, my dearest firefly~" She smiled sweetly at him.
Suddenly more music started playing, everyone turned their attention to MK's party clone across the dance floor. "Yeah! Everybody move yo feet!" Porty girl shouted into the mic.
Everyone just shrugged and made their way to the dance floor. "Oh, wait I forgot something!" MK said, she turned around so her back was facing the audience and tossed the flower bouquet in the air.
"It's mine! It's mine!" Mei exclaimed, reaching her hands up for the bouquet. Only for a small blue blur to zoom past her catching it.
"Hey!"
Mei looked at the culprit to see it was Mo who had the bouquet in his mouth. "Mreow!~"
Who would have thought after the world almost ending. It's nice for just one day to only think about love.
