Summary
Devastated at being unable to reverse the memory charm on her parents and growing more and more discouraged at how the Ministry is handling the restructuring of Wizarding Britain post-war, Hermione returns to Hogwarts for her Eighth Year rather than jumping into a career at the Ministry. She's determined to find a way to save her parents, no matter the cost--even if it means cutting a deal with the ever-manipulative Draco Malfoy.
Draco doesn't want to return to Hogwarts. In fact, he'd leave Britain altogether if he could, but when he finds out his mother has been struck with a serious and likely incurable illness, he bends to her wishes for him to return for his final year. He'll do anything to cure his mother's curse--including obscure blood rituals with the insufferable Hermione Granger.
