Work Text:
Ivan woke up with the sun beaming in his eyes from the slit of the curtain.
But there was his sun in front of him.
Till.
A smile tugged from the corners of his lips when he saw his beloved boyfriend.
He could never ask for more, this was way more than enough.
He wrapped his arms around his boyfriends waist, tracing the initials "I" and "T" on his boyfriends torso.
Just the thought of Till made his heart want to break out and run away from his chest.
He put his head on Till's shoulder, inhaling his scent, he could do this forever.
A few minutes later, he felt his boyfriend wake up from the different breathing pattern he heard. (does this make sense, I don't know too, just pretend it does.)
He kissed his boyfriend's neck as he snuggled more against him, he felt Till shiver at the kiss.
"Good morning love." Ivan said lovingly, as his arms squeezed Till tighter.
"Mm... good morning to you too I guess..." he replied as he let out a sigh as he shifted his body to face Ivan's.
Ivan smiled as he saw Till's heavenly face, he kissed his boyfriends forehead.
"Eww... your morning breath stinks." Till said as he raised his hand to flick Ivan's forehead.
"Owww.... that hurt you know..." Ivan whined as he caught Till's hand and brought it up to cup his cheek.
Till rolled his eyes at Ivan, he knew damn well that Ivan's morning breath smelled like fresh blackberries, his favorite fruit.
Till rolled back to his side facing away from Ivan, Ivan pouted, he knew that Till was only getting his phone but 5 seconds away from him is already compatible or even worse (it was) than getting hit by 10 atomic bombs.
After Till got his phone he shifted back to face Ivan as he went on his phone, Ivan's arms still tightly wrapped Till's waist.
"I Know You" by Faye Webster blasted through his phone speakers, it was the playlist him and Till made together.
Till settled his phone beside him on the bed, once he did so he buried his head in Ivan's chest.
Ivan was red.
His heart was beating fast, all the time around Till, his heart was aching.
His breath shaking as he smiled and held Till, hugged him tighter.
They were one.
No start, no end.
Till breathed lightly against Ivan's chest, pushing into the warmth.
Ivan was so close to passing out and dying from heart failure by Till.
He couldn't take it any longer.
"Till," Ivan said as Till looked up and rose an eyebrow.
"Till, I love you so much, I love you. I love you. I love you. More than anything in the whole universe, I love the way you insult me, I love the way you talk, I love the way you look, I love the way you look at me, I love your voice, I love your body, I love you more than anything. If God was real, if there really was a God, I would thank him. I would thank him and go on my knees crying out of joy and thank him for bringing you into my life."
Ivan continued praising him as he looked into Till's eyes, Till got red, he started tearing up.
"I hope we meet in every universe Till, I hope we're happy, I hope I would never get to experience you leaving or me leaving you. I hope we are in love in every single universe. In everything, the sun and the moon, the two Koi fish in the pond, the two red anemone flowers growing beside each other, the white and black cat on the street. I love you Till, I love you. I love you."
Till was in utter shock at Ivan, it wasn't a surprise that Ivan would praise him, it was normal, but like this?
He was out.
Tears streaming down his face, no one loved him like this before, did Ivan even mean it?
Of course he did, and Till knew, he knew deep inside that Ivan would never lie to him, especially when it comes to Ivan talking about this feelings.
He knew Ivan.
And Ivan knew him.
"Stop saying that corny stuff it's weird." Till said as he sniffled.
Ivan sighed and smiled warmly at his boyfriend, god he loved him.
He raised one of his hands from Till's waist and wiped the tear from his eyes.
He licked it.
At this point Till didn't even care anymore and just laughed softly at Ivan, he knew Ivan would do this, he knew, he always knew, Ivan was always like that.
Till snuggled up in Ivan's chest again, Ivan held him impossibly tighter.
"I love you too Ivan." Till said softly.
Till rarely says "I love you" and hearing this made Ivan almost pass out from the overwhelming love he felt.
"I'm so lucky to have you, the luckiest in the world." Till continued on, Ivan just listened.
"I am, Till, and you cannot change my mind. I'm more luckier." Ivan said as he disagreed with Till.
Till just sighed in Ivan's chest, he knew that if he brought up a fight he would lose.
But he knew that Ivan was wrong.
He knew that Ivan loved him so much.
He knew that Ivan would kill anyone for him.
He knew Ivan would sacrifice anything for him.
He knew Ivan would kill himself for him.
He knew.
Till looked up at his boyfriend's eyes, they both leaned in, as if they both knew, they kissed.
Ivan's soft lips on his, everything was perfect, he was perfect.
Once they pulled away they put their heads together, he heard Ivan whisper something faintly.
I knew you from the start, Till, I knew that I loved you dearly, I knew that you didn't love me but I kept trying and trying, And when I finally got you it felt like a wash of love showered over me, I love you Till. It felt like I knew you from many life's before, I knew I loved you many life's before. I knew you, Just like you knew me. Till, my God, my universe, I knew you ever since the start of time and I'm certain, I know you.
