Megumi digs his nails into his palm, hands barely restrained from slamming him into the ground. Ieiri-san seems to trust him, though he knows she won't be hurt by him. From what little his teacher has told him, he knows Geto-san was a mutual friend once.
...Once.
Itadori clenches his jaw, hand digging into the sheets. "Nothing to worry about here," he says, voice is stretched thin by faux diplomacy. "We...we're good." Geto-san stills for a moment, unconvinced.
"If you're sure," he sighs, closing the door. They all stare at the closed door, a phantom of a man standing unseen in the threshold. He's on a leash, they said. One step out of line and he's gone, they said.
Somehow, Megumi finds that hard to believe.

OR After the Shinjuku Showdown, everyone is tired, overworked, and stressed the fuck out. Megumi feels pretty shitty about the whole thing. Some of it is his fault, after all. Also, why is Geto here, exactly?
OR OR Gojo is (barely) alive, Geto is back, and Megumi is desperate to feel normal.
