Summary
The story is set in the 1950s.
In that decade, a young boy named William Stitch was born into a family of Stitches.
His mother was named Anya Stitch, his father was Joseph Stitch, and he had a sister named Selina. Selina was the favorite in the household because William wasn't a typical little boy. He had feelings that led his dad to hit him every time he acted upon things that weren't considered boyish. William never really understood why he felt the way he did or why he did the things he did. All he knew was that he wantedhis family to treat him the same way they treated his sister.
One day, he met a girl named Jessica and her friend or sister, Chloe, and William fell in love with her. Soon after, he made friends with a boy named Gerald. As the abuse continued to escalate, when William turned 17 and then 18, Jessica claimed to be pregnant with his child, which shocked him; he was now forced to marry her and help care for the baby. Later in life, William grumbled as he agreed to be his sister's donor for her wife, Delilah.
The story concludes with the birth of Charlotte Stitch.
