I woke up in my room, it was a long night last night, I danced and sung and was super happy- mostly because of Pearlie. I still remember the smile on her face when she looked at me...She was so cute and beautiful, I could barely keep myself from looking at her the entire time, but the cheers of the Inklings and Octolings made me focus, it was sad but I would just see Pearlie again the next day, that day is today.
I checked my phone to see a text from Pearlie, and I immediately opened it, "Good morning Marina! I had such a blast last night, I can't wait to see you again! I hope we have as much fun as we did..."
She texted me...I was so happy. I held the phone close to my chest and giggled, I wanted to text back something heartfelt and cute that she would just blush at the sight of! So I texted; "Good morning my precious Pearlie! I had so much fun with you too...I really loved it when you danced and sung, it made my night! I wish we could do that again, I just want to see you because that's how good you are!" And then I hit send. She read it! I was excited and wanted to know what she'd say but I had to get ready for the day...
I was finally in a super cute outfit, only for Pearlie. I rushed back to my phone, looking at the screen to see another text from my Pearlie. She wanted to meet up with me...! I was so happy and I wanted to kiss her so badly now, she makes me so happy all the time and I don't know what to even say to her most of the time...But she knows exactly what I'm thinking.
I grab the keys, wallet, and secret picture of Pearlie that I kept for good luck and my own personal reasons. I ran out the door of my house and checked my phone again, she wanted to meet me at the secret part of the park we always go to.
When I finally got there; Pearlie was waiting for me on a bench, she looked so beautiful and cool...Her arms were crossed and her eyes were shut, she looked like a powerful Inkling that no one dared to mess with, and only had eyes for me...Pearlie looked at me and smiled, "Hey, 'rina! Come and sit down..." She said, I followed her instructions and sat right next to her, my arm was touching hers, we were just that close together.

After a while...She went home, I crossed my legs and stared at the pavement, "What do I even say to her? She's so pretty and nice...And strong...And..." I thought out loud, "I can barely get anything out when I look at her...The only thing I can do is look at her and smile...I get so lost in her eyes...I just want to tell her how I feel, but I feel like she might judge me for feeling this way about her!"
It wasn't till then I heard someone else spoke; "Ay ay ay! (We can probably help you, Marina!)" It was Deep Cut, and they wanted to help me, "Of course we're going to help you, Frye thought you looked sad and we couldn't help but listen in on you talking about 'your Pearlie'." Shiver said, leaning over the back of the bench, "Yeah, you are our friend and kinda like a friendly rival to us! So why shouldn't we help you out? Besides, it's easy to ask a girl out, I've done it plenty of times." Frye said. Frye hopped over the back of the bench and sat next to me, "But did any of them go out with you?" Shiver asked and smirked, "No..." Frye answered, like that was supposed to be some comical moment.
I always saw Deep Cut as pretty nice...But I didn't expect them to help me out with Pearlie...I couldn't find anything to say, I was just so taken off guard, "Ay ay ay...Ay aya ay ay ay, aya ya ay? (Okay so first...Get her flowers, she likes flowers right?)" Big Man asked, I could only nod my head, "Then just get her some flowers, if she's allergic to pollen then just get her fake ones." Frye said, hitting my shoulder.
So I got flowers. They were pink just like the tips of her tentacles, they matched her...I finally texted her, "Hey, Pearlie, can we meet at the cafe? I have something to tell you."
After a while, she finally showed up, "Hey 'rina! What cha' wanna tell me?" Pearlie asked.
I took out the flowers and gave them to her, I could see her blushing, "W-Well...I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my girlfriend..." I answered, I was so worried; what if she said no? But she kissed me! I was so happy, I could barely contain myself!
