And all of this while their best hope at survival, the New Squidbeak Splatoon, are more enemies than friends. With the ultimate crisis fast approaching, the five strongest members of Squidbeak will have to decide what's truly most important to them before all of it comes to an end.

A power vacuum, with no willing claimant to a role of leadership, begins to tug at the seams of Deep Cut’s own internal affairs. Revolutionaries are guided by love, but it simply cannot be enough to maintain stability in the strain of a recent anarchy. Hands will never be enough to hold off an avalanche, but the least they could ever do is fight.

They were relieved of duty after the incident down in the crater, finally able to sit back and relax, enjoy the peace and quiet. Peace and quiet is exactly what Marie and Maize was going to have, until Callie burst in and dragged the two out on vacation with her.
