   Summary

Once a proud prince of Rohan, Haleth lost everything in the war—his title, his home, and his sense of self. Haunted by the flaws of his past, he seeks redemption by immersing himself in the Dunlending way of life, living in Isengard to learn the language of his former enemies.

He finds unexpected companionship in Sath—a fiery, bold, and unconventional Dunlending woman who challenges him both linguistically and emotionally. As she teaches him Dunlendish and helps him confront his vulnerabilities, she becomes his guiding light. And in him, she finds a love that is steady, devoted, and true.
