   Summary

   After the Rebellion, King Robert needed to set a strong alliance in the Reach. Y/N is the heiress of an old and noble family of the region and to secure her house's loyalty to the kingdom, the king arranged her marriage with his brother, Stannis Baratheon. Stannis is a hard man who resents his "prize" for enduring an almost year-long siege. Will Y/N be able to navigate his stone heart? Will he be able to melt hers after her years with a turbulent family?

   The story takes place before the events of A Song of Ice and Fire, right after the Rebellion. Selyse is not a part of this story nor is the Red Woman. Also, this is not super canon accurate, it is meant to give Stannis' stans (yes, we exist) a bit of love and maybe fluff, because we do suffer in this fandom.
