In the gaping hole the stolen money left, they attached a file. When opened, it led to a badly drawn MS Paint drawing of a cat in a sheriff hat. Which is where the department's unaffectionate nickname came in. Predicting the Sheriff’s next attack led him in the complete wrong direction. Trying to trace their signature back to their location sent back a gif of a cat winking with the words ‘try again next time!’ blinking on the screen.
Or, the Sheriff is an infamous hacker known for stealing money from big corporations and rich CEO's. Tango is the FBI agent tasked with apprehending him.
