"He wants to go back to school," Minho says, running his towel along the edge until it squeaks.
She reaches out to turn off the faucet. Keeps her grip on the handle even after it runs dry. "Are you going to let him?"
The plate almost slips from his hands. He looks at her. She looks back. She doesn't look away.
He swallows. "I don't want to."
She takes the plate from him, stacks it with the rest. "But you will," she says.
