He’d write a song for her, he decided, with lyrics already fresh in his mind. She’d be his inspiration, his muse, and later into the night, when they were spent and she was sparkling, he’d ask to hear the notes from her lips. As he’d kiss her neck, she’d oblige him. The words would come easy, sung like a prayer in the quiet of their bedroom, and Matthias would write new melodies with his tongue: spit like ink, and words an array of carnal technicolour.
