   Summary

   No, Remus Lupin did not want to go to Hogwarts to spend the next 7 years surrounded by magic and laughter and other boys. Because Remus Lupin was not like other boys. Remus Lupin was barely a boy at all. Remus was a werewolf, and werewolves did not belong at Hogwarts, despite what Dumbledore may say.
