Summary
Kaiser sits on the edge of the bed. Ness debates between waiting for orders and acting on his instincts, and he eventually lands on the latter. He takes some cautionary steps towards Kaiser, and finds himself on his knees between Kaiser's legs.
Ness tilts his head up. Kaiser's lip twitches, and Ness is sure the words "good boy" almost slipped out from them. Kaiser makes him work for that kind of praise, though, so he unsurprisingly stopped himself before it did. Still, even the thought of praise from Kaiser is enough to please Ness, the corner of his lips curling up into a slight smile.
