The spring breeze was blowing through softly, sweeping a flurry of leaves through the courtyard. However, even the wind couldn't bother Nayuta as he looked at the person in front of him.
Never in his many years of working as a highschool teacher has he ever thought of a student confessing to him. Sure, he's got a few love letters over the years and some jokes among his students about being in a relationship with him but he quickly rejected the notion and just focused on teaching them.
Then again, those students aren't like the one in front of him. Altus Zendoji, a bright eyed student that has caught his eyes ever since he started teaching him. Confident, well-versed in both academic and sports and to top it off? A handsome man. Altus is well on his way into entering one of the top universities. He has a bright future so why?
"Altus," Nayu slowly started. "Can you please repeat what you just said to me? Slowly, this time." Altus gave a small smile, "Nayu-sensei, no- Nayuta, I like you. Always have. Would you do me the honor of going out with me?" Altus repeated slowly, closing the distance between them.
Nayu inhaled sharply. When did he get so close? Noticing that his beloved sensei didn't take a step back, Altus smiled further at the small victory and reached for his uniform's second button.
"I want you to have this," Handing the button to Nayu, he continued, "It would mean a lot and it means you've accepted my proposal"
"Altus. You do realize our position? I'm your teacher and you're my student. It would be unethical of me." "But I've already graduated, no? Besides, if you're worried about my studies, I can make a promise to you as long as you agree to be mine that is"
Nayu was speechless, the gall this man had. Mine? "And what would I get if I accept?" Looking down at the button he waited for Altus' response. "My unlimited supply of love, heh" Altus replied confidently. Without waiting he took Nayu's palm placing the button and cupped both of Nayu's cheeks.
Nayu blushed, "Who said you could touch me?" Altus chuckled, "But you're not giving back the button? I'll take this as acceptance?"
Nayu stayed silent, letting a few seconds pass, looking up to meet Altus' eyes. God, those eyes are really something aren't they? "But, you have to maintain your grades throughout university and get a job. Any less than that, I'm ending whatever this is."
"Haha, of course! Only the best for you," Slightly towering over Nayu, Altus embraced Nayu, "Don't you worry, I'll never let you escape me ever." Nayuta just nodded while returning the embrace. This is gonna be a long ride.
