The Exchange Event turned out to be a disaster. For reasons unexplained, a special grade cursed spirit showed up and attacked the students. Luckily some of them were able to put up a fight, but things were finally resolved when Satoru showed up and used Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue to fire a warning shot towards the cursed spirit.
"Yay!" the teacher happily declared. "That should settle everything!"
So with things back on track, and Todo insisting that the Exchange Event continues, Satoru was able to trick the other faculty members into having the students play baseball instead of individual battles. While it was mostly due to wanting to humor Utahime, he also wanted to have sudden newcomer Junpei Yoshino get involved, since he had to sit out from the team battle due to him literally showing up last minute with a way-too-eager Yuji. He would have been sorely defeated.
But enough with dwelling on the past. With Satoru as the umpire, it was time to play ball!
At the moment, Noritoshi had unintentionally struck out due to being caught up in a conversation with Yuji. While Satoru declared it was time to switch teams, a familiar person was caught in his Six Eyes. A beautiful woman with wavy shoulder-length black hair and long bangs tied up by a side braid. She wore a navy blue yukata with a white obi, but instead of the more traditional clog sandals, she wore white leather sandals. There was one other detail that caught his eye.
A silver ring adorned on her left middle finger, a sparkling clear jewel bright enough to shine under low light.
"What the hell is that?!"
Nobara's angry shout and the other students rushing to calm her down (with Panda restraining her first) snapped Satoru out of his daze. Yet not even those strong, fluffy arms were enough as Mai explained how Mechamaru had to use a spare due to his main body being destroyed during the team battle. Luckily Tsumiki was able to use her Bone Puppeteer cursed technique to prevent Nobara from landing a punch. But that wasn't on Satoru's mind at the moment.
"Satoru?"
A deep voice suddenly snapped the white-haired man out of his daze. He didn't even have to look knowing who that voice belonged to. A taller man with long black hair tied up in a loose ponytail (although those side bangs of his were still prominent), wearing a pristine white yukata robe with white tabi socks and zōri sandals. Despite his seemingly calm demeanor, he was only five percent less of a chaotic mess compared to his closest friend.
"I take it Riko has come to visit," Suguru Geto concluded.
"How'd you know?" Satoru asked.
"I don't need Six Eyes to see that look you always give her," Geto recalled. "If you want, I can take over as umpire so you could talk with her."
"You sure?" Satoru checked. He tapped his finger on his pitch-black sunglasses. "'Cause I don't think you got the right eyes."
"My eyes work fine for a simple baseball game," Geto insisted. He gave Satoru a forceful nudge on his shoulder. "Now go."
"Well, if you insist..." Gojo sighed. But the moment he saw Riko getting closer with a familiar child, he let out a giddy laugh as he hurried out of the baseball field.
From the moment Geto held out his hand and told Riko they were going home, her life changed for the better. She said her farewells to her former bodyguards before setting off on traveling with Misato. She was able to do so many things, but she soon realized things were a little lonely. So after four years, she returned to Tokyo as a more mature woman to reunite with her old friends.
She soon discarded the name 'Amanai' for 'Gojo' three months later.
Being married to one of the two strongest sorcerers had its perks. The Gojo Clan had a strong influence on the world, which also meant wearing silk kimonos and gorgeous jewels. There was also the man she asked to marry. Satoru proved countless times he was the best husband in the whole world. He always made time for her and was openly affectionate towards her. That kindness soon lead to two separate surprises, one of which recently turned two.
So on a particularly warm day, Riko decided to pay her hubby a visit. Once she arrived at Jujutsu Tech, she heard commotion from the school's baseball field. So with toddler boy Kazuo Gojo clinging to her hand, she headed over there as soon as she could. But before she could set foot in the field, she was greeted by the loving embrace of a sunglasses-wearing man.
"Hey there, my darling starshine," Satoru complimented. "What brings you to the school?"
Riko couldn't help but laugh. "Can't a woman check in on her husband after a special grade attack?" she asked in response.
"So you heard about what happened yesterday," Satoru realized as he separated from the hug.
"From Yaga," Riko explained. "You weren't too harsh on the cursed spirit, were you?"
"Nah," Satoru reassured. "I just hit that overgrown weed with a bit of Blue and sent it packing. It wasn't too hard." He knelt down towards the young boy who had the same white hair and light blue eyes as him. "So how's my special boy doing?"
Kazuo withdrew slightly. "I see," Satoru remarked. He stood to his full height. "Still a little shy?"
"He still hasn't awaken to any curse energy," Riko explained as she felt Kazuo tightly cling to her hand. "I think he feels embarrassed for being slow."
"No ma!" Kazuo shouted. "No tell da!"
Satoru chuckled. "Aw, don't worry," he reassured with a simple head pat to his son. "You've got the Gojo genes in you. I'm sure you'll get strong in no time. After all, you gotta set a good example for little Sango when you're older."
"You already picked out a name?" Riko sighed. She patted her still-flat belly. "There isn't even a bulge yet."
"She's still adorable even as a tiny embryo," Satoru insisted.
Riko responded with an eye-roll. "So what else is new?" she asked, hoping to change topics. "I heard you got some new students."
"I did," Satoru confirmed. He pointed at each student as they continued the baseball game. "Remember that Fushiguro guy who tried to kill you? Well turns out he had a family and his stepdaughter, Tsumiki, is training to be a sorcerer. Said she wants to stop her stepbrother from killing everyone in the Zenin Clan. There's also Nobara Kugisaki and Yuji Itadori. They're kinda new to the whole sorcery bit, although Nobara inherited her cursed technique from her grandma. And the emo-looking guy is Junpei Yoshino, a newcomer who started attending a few days ago. Yuji picked him up while on a mission in Kawasaki, so now he's training to protect his mom after a sudden curse attack."
"That's an interesting batch of students," Riko remarked. "I hope none of them are causing you trouble."
"Well not as bad as Yuta," Satoru replied. "At least I was able to fend off a single-finger'd Sukuna without troub- GUH!"
Riko had unexpectedly grabbed Satoru's shirt and pulled him closer to her. "Did you just say Sukuna?" she checked. "As in, Mr. King-of-Curses Sukuna?!"
Satoru swallowed hard. "...L-Like I said, I took care of him while he was only powered by one finger," he repeated, his sunglasses slipping down his nose. "Plus Yuji's able to stay in control, so-"
Riko released her grasp and passed Kazuo's hand to Satoru's grasp. "Kazuo, go stay with daddy," she instructed in an eerily calm voice. "I need to check in on this Itadori kid." She then made her way towards the baseball field.
"Wait, starshine!" Satoru called out. He picked up Kazuo and gave chase. "Don't do anything rash!"
Yep. Just another ordinary day in the life of Satoru Gojo.
