Summary
Centuries ago, the world teetered on the brink of darkness. The Archdemon, leader of the malevolent Darkspawn, threatened to engulf all life in a cataclysmic Blight. Despite countless efforts, every attempt to halt its advance failed. Hope seemed lost until a fellowship of brave heroes emerged, determined to defy annihilation. The Grey Wardens, equipped with a mysterious power, confronted and vanquished the Archdemon, ending the Blight. Their valorous deeds brought a beacon of hope in times of peril. The Blights continued to happen over time, but each time, they were stopped by the Grey Wardens.
Nearly four hundred years have passed since the last Blight, and ominous signs of another Blight now loom over Ferelden. A Darkspawn horde gathers once more, pillaging villages and striking in broad daylight. King Cailan rallies his vassals to prepare for battle against these relentless foes, but shadows of betrayal darken the horizon.
Teryn Bryce Cousland readies his forces to join King Cailan's host and the Grey Wardens of Ferelden in the looming struggle.
