Hatchet, Colorado - 1900
As the blacksmith and farrier of a mid-sized Colorado town, Dammon mainly keeps to himself—aside, of course, from his undefined but intimate relationship with Vigil, a hired gun who’s gone much of the time. But when Vigil returns from a run gravely injured, it becomes clear to Dammon something needs to change. He wants more from their relationship and from their life together. But something holds him back.If only he could know whether Vigil feels the same.
