“Well I can’t just make you eat disgusting things all the time,” Greg remarks after a long minute of silence, more to himself than to Alex. “That’s not good for your health.”
The way that he says it indicates that he thinks that Alex would do it if he asked, which is probably correct. There are quite a lot of things Alex would do without question if Greg asked him to do them, and Greg knows this, too. The silence stretches for another minute before Greg turns to him.
“Would you enjoy it if I did that more often? Told you what I’d like you to eat?”
Alex feels a little frisson of something slither up his spine. It isn’t sexual, although it’s something quite close to it, a little throbbing beat of contentment and pleasure.
