   Summary

   The gods are not kind. Anyone who is anyone would know. My mother would tell me of the stories with the people that help the gods, getting branded as a hero only to die a horrible death and be forgotten. The villains they would fight, the burden they carry. This is the way I lost my mother and almost my friend.
