FROM THE NOTES OF THE EMPEROR OF MANKIND:
-1 year before the great Crusade-
Its hard to write.
Especially considering the amount of work I'm putting off just to do so.
So I have to make this quick.
My sons are growing well. Me, Malcador, and Erda are quite excited with the results.(Though Erda did act a bit strange after I explained the plan)
From the project a few notable observations have been made:
- 4 are completely identical pairs and already have an immense bond in those pairs(Alpha-Omega and Beta Cappa)
- They seem to have developed a heavier adaptation factor than I first theorized
- and Some are more warp affiliated than others.
That is not to say that the others aren't psykers or connected to the warp far from it(Well except beta and cappa pair which one is a blank an the other is (SCRATCHED OUT))
Its that some naturally take to the warp more than the others naturally. All would have extreme warp manipulation if they chose too. Of them, the 5 are noticeably warp proficient. 4 are expected however as their roles require it. The 5th however was unexpected. However it seems it will lay very much dormant. It will not interfear with the trefoil, which is all that matters. I shall continue to make observations on this until further experimentation is possible post gestation.

Leman Russ did not dream.
Non of the Primarchs did unless they were psykers.
Visons sure, especially from father.
But dreams? Only Magnus and Horus had dreams and the betrayed their father.
Russ would not have that.
That is why he journeyed. Alone is this one maned ship. With his wolves and an chain axe on his side(he would prefer his normal one). He would have brought his spear, but it was the Allfathers. Russ was not worthy of it. Not until he rids himself of these dreams. Of the thing that was Horus. Of the ruins on Terra. Of the body of his brother. Of Magnus in a library of ice and sand. Of Corvus in a dungeon of black suffocating darkness. And of a king sitting of a chair, surrounded by eyes, sickness, blood, and excess, a spear above him, and a broken nose in his hands, on a throne in front of a tree with a thousand branches with apples, And 9 great spheres.

All of them. Every night.
It did not matter to Russ that the voices were getting louder everyday he was at Fenris.
It did not matter that the voices sounded familiar.
It didn't matter that it always coalesced into Fath-
'Enough!' thought Russ. 'Father is incapacitated. This is vile warp trickery. I shall not be slave to the wyrd and the warp!'
Russ had gotten angrier since his journey began. He knew what waited at Molech was like a trap by the ruinous powers. Likely the sons of his traitorous brother Magnus.
But Leman Russ still had to go. The voices mocked his brothers and fathers memories. That would not stand.
Still he was wary. During his journey he encountered Guilliman and Jagatai. He spoke only of Molech. Not of the dreams. They said it was a planet father had visited for their creation. During the Heresy it was attacked by the traitor and his armies. After it was liberated.
More questions then. Why there? The planet had no physical corruption. All the traitors were purged by that little inquisition the Hero made. So what trickery is this?
Russ did not know. These questions and ran through his head as he sat in his ship, orbiting the planet for days.
The dreams got louder near the portal his father had entered.
The path was clear yet clouded. It would make much better sense to leave the system. Learn to live with the voices.
Yet the wolf of Fenris knew what his answer was.
He was many things, but a sensible man was not common.
And not needed on this day.
He activated his ships teleport systems and went to the closest out port to the portal.
Leman Russ would have answers.
