How many days had it been?
It had to have been at least three. Tirelessly searching through the mesa looking for anything that could have been disturbed or show sign of life, a sign of her. That stupid wretched fae, the fae whose name is the reason the page of trusted people has been ripped from his journal. Now simply floating over the dunes as Amari stumbled through cave and crevice after cave and crevices. He had to find them, some sign of them, some sign of hope or vengeance.
Amari checked their communicator, no messages, there hadn’t been any messages. She knew she’d made everyone mad, she hadn’t meant to, but if they found anything out they’d let her know…. Right? She hadn’t messed it up that bad right???
No. Spur said they’d let him know if they found out any information and they would… Amari trusted that.
They put their comm away with a sigh and looked over the top of the mesa. The truth couldn’t hide for long, all she had to do was keep searching. Something would turn up
