Summary
This is a Hogwarts rendition of the late 90's classic 10 Things I Hate About You.
Hermione Granger never expected to survive the war, let alone end up back at Hogwarts for her eighth year without her core group of friends by her side. Ron Weasley had turned out to be a rather terrible boyfriend. She didn't know if it was because of what happened to Lavender during the final battle, or if it was way before then, but he wasn't the man she'd become friends with all those years ago any longer.
Draco Malfoy didn't know what to do anymore. Everything he'd ever been told before Voldemort had returned had been a lie. He knew it right when he'd first realized what that curly headed Gryffindor was. He spent all of his previous years at Hogwarts fighting the feelings for the Muggleborn. Throwing slurs her way and scorning her at every opportunity, but he was done fighting now. That didn't mean however that he was going to act on them. At least if he had anything to say about it.
He didn't, the Unbreakable Vow made sure of that. He might have lost his freedom of choice in the matter, but now he was going to do everything in his power to win the heart of a certain Golden Girl.
