   Summary

   Gwyn struggles with the need to leave the library while still holding onto survivor's guilt. She craves certain life experiences - seeing the world, going out with friends, and dating. Nesta and Cassian offer her to stay in Cassian's old room on the weekends, so she can experience life outside of the library, while still living close. The only issue: her room shares a bathroom with Azriel's room - a male she can't stop thinking about.

   Azriel is growing bitter after two failed attempts at love. He decides to stop taking lovers and wait until he meets his mate. However, as his friendship with Gwyn grows, he can't stop thinking of her, every interaction and touch imprinted in his mind. He reminds himself that she only sees him as a friend, and falling for a friend has never worked for him in the past.
