Summary
After the passing of Mrs. Bradley suffering through a long illness, Selim Bradley decides that he no longer wants to live secluded away in the countryside away from anything and everything. Tired of the same routine after fifteen years, he resolves that he must remedy these complex and confusing feelings that are chipping away at everything he has always understood.
On a completely impulsive decision, he abandons his old life of nothings in hiding to pursue show business in Central City. He is now forced to cooperate with Kimblee—who has been active in his consciousness since his soul became a part of Pride—more than he ever had before. Much to Kimblee’s chagrin, he proves to be more than useful in Selim’s pursuit to something greater than himself.
But can Selim escape the ghosts of his past? History may be able to slowly forget who and what he is, but will he ever be able to replace what he once was?
Leaving domestication seemed like a good idea at the time, but his struggle of human versus homunculus may destroy his desire to finally belong.
