Work Text:

Lisa is currently in Paris, working on her Christmas cover that she will release at Christmas, as well as other business projects. At the moment, she’s staying at a hotel and usually works, but she decided to visit her cousin, who lives far from the city. She has to take a train to get there, but Lisa did not mind and was glad that nobody recognized her, except for a few fans who respected her privacy.

As she arrived, she was greeted by her adorable niece and her cousin, who let her in. “So, Priya, how long are you staying here?” her cousin asked as she prepared her guest room. “I’ll be here for a while. Living in a hotel is fine, but I need a change of pace,” she told her. “I’m also thinking of bringing Love here for some company,” she then informed her cousin. “I don’t mind! Plus, I think your niece would love having a pet in our house,” her cousin replied, agreeing with her plan. After that, Lisa ate dinner with them and talked to her niece, who was adorably teaching her French words. When she asked where Jennie was, the reply was, “Your auntie Jennie is in Korea working.” but they ended up using FaceTime since she wanted to see her, and it was a cute sight to see them talking.

After a little while, Lisa lay on the couch watching TV. Sure, she would prefer working, but it’s her rest day, and it’s boring doing nothing until her cousin arrives. “What are you watching?” she asks. “Oh, I just chose any channel, but it seems they’re talking about houses,” she says as her cousin sits beside her. “Hey, have you and Jennie spoken about buying a house here yet?” was the question her cousin asked her. “Well, we haven’t fully talked about it yet, but Jennie does want to live here someday,” she explained to her cousin, who understood. “Well, now is the chance since you’re here anyway, and you can talk to her about it. If you make a decision, I can help you find it since I have a friend here who works in real estate,” her cousin explained and offered, and Lisa thanked her for that.

As she went to bed, she called Jennie once again, and the two talked about everything that had happened. Then Lisa spoke, “Hey, my cousin mentioned wanting to help us find a house in Paris,” Lisa told Jennie, who remembered the past conversation. “Oh really? She said that?” Jennie asked, now looking interested. “Yeah, but I told her that we’ll talk about it. Do you want to search for a house in Paris?” Lisa then asked her. “I actually don’t mind it, and since we can use that house if we’re ever in Paris, we can also use it if we decide to move there as well,” Jennie explained. Lisa agreed with her, saying, “Since we are in agreement, I’ll tell my cousin,” she told Jennie, who nodded. “Hey, it’s probably night in Korea right now. Are you going to sleep?” she asked Jennie, who shook her head. “Not yet; I want to talk to you for a bit before I sleep,” she told Lisa, who smiled and continued talking.

After a few days, Jennie arrived in Paris, secretly, of course, wearing a bit of a disguise. She was glad that the Parisians respect privacy and happily met up with Lisa at the hotel. “Paris is like LA; people respect your privacy and don’t care that much about who you are,” she said, lying on the bed. “Yeah, that’s true,” Lisa replied in agreement. “Also, it's Interesting that it’s always the chinese fans who take your pictures whenever you hang out with Fred, and the quality is quite bad, actually,” Jennie noted. “Ah, it’s because that’s part of the plan. Since they’ll share it on their own social media websites, it will be discussed to the point that the person who works for us will make a post about it, attracting the attention of people, even if the quality of the pictures is bad.” Lisa explained to Jennie, “Yeah, that does seem like a smart plan, but people would notice the pattern in the long run." She told Lisa, “Yeah, true, there would, but the usual people won’t notice it.” She told Jennie, who nodded as she agreed.

They met up with Lisa’s cousin at the house and had lunch there first. It was adorable seeing Jennie interact with Lisa’s cousin. “She’s really good at speaking French,” her cousin said to Lisa. “Yeah, it’s thanks to her French teacher who’s been helping her learn French,” Lisa told her cousin. “Why haven’t you learned it yet?” her cousin asked. “I’m busy, and plus, she was always the one who was more eager to learn,” she explained to her cousin, who nodded. Then Jennie and her niece walked towards them. “She wants to give me a tour of her favorite places,” she said as Lisa looked at her cousin. “It’s fine; we can go tomorrow. Jennie just arrived,” she told them as the kid smiled and dragged Lisa along with them while her cousin told them to have fun.

The next day, they met up with her cousin once again, now with her friend named Genevieve, who is a real estate agent. They were in awe to meet Jennie and Lisa and promised they wouldn’t spill what happened here. With that, they started finding a house for them. The first house they went to looked quite nice, but Jennie didn’t like it and told them she didn’t like the vibe of the place either, nor was it fit for them. Lisa agreed as well. Genevieve explained to them that the house was built in the old days and had been renovated. Since they didn’t want this house, they decided to move on to another one.

The next house looked great, and it also appeared comfortable, but they didn’t like it as it didn’t fit their needs. There wasn’t enough room and space for them, their belongings, or their pets if they ever moved in, and with that, they moved on to the next house. They arrived at a nice-looking suburban area, which was a bit far from the Eiffel Tower, but the two didn’t mind. “This place has a school, park, supermarket, vet clinic, and a clinic for humans, along with a few cafes. There’s also a hospital nearby and restaurants as well, so you have everything you need. Plus, this area and the residents strive for privacy, which is good for you,” Genevieve said. It reminded them of the place where their house in Korea was as they arrived at the big house. “This house has the same exterior paint as the others, but it’s different because there’s a spacious garage for cars. Like all houses, it has features that make it secure,” she said as they entered the small gate.

While walking, she showed the garage to them and pointed out the door that connects to the main house. “As you can see, there are security cameras outside for the safety of every resident, but you have the option to control the cameras for privacy,” she explained to them. The two thought the garden looked nice. “We also have a door that activates with your thumbprint and password,” she said as she showed it to them. “It’s almost like our house in Korea,” Jennie mentioned to Lisa, who nodded at the comparison as they entered the house.

When they stepped inside the entrance of the house, it looked a bit spacious. The girls noticed a closet for their footwear, a place to hang their coats, and cabinets for storage. “This house is fully furnished already, but you can renovate or add more stuff here,” she explained to the girls as they arrived in the living room and found the interior to be nicely decorated. “There’s already a couch and cabinets for storage,” she said while showing them the cabinets and shelves. “But you will have to buy the other stuff for this part of the room,” she told them as they went to the next room. “This is the dining area,” she showed them, and Jennie and Lisa thought the dining area looked beautiful. Like the living room area, it’s also a bit spacious, and then they headed over to the kitchen.

Like the last two rooms, the kitchen is also spacious and has room for cooking. It also connects to the living room, which is convenient. They saw kitchenware and items that are needed in the kitchen. “There’s a pantry on the side for food stock and for cooking,” she then says. After looking around, they move to the next area. “Next is the basement,” she says as she turns on the light for the stairs leading to the basement. “You can use it as a room or for storage,” she adds. “It’s like our basement in our house in Korea,” Jennie notes to Lisa, who nods. They look around for a bit before leaving. “Oh, before we go to the second floor, there’s also a bathroom here,” she says, showing the small bathroom. She then starts leading them to the two glass doors near the living room. “This is the backyard. There’s a lot of room here for your pets to run around, and you can decorate it,” she tells them, and the two look at one another, liking the space.

They then went up to the second floor of the house. “Okay, this house has one master bedroom, a second room, three guest rooms, and two bathrooms, one of which is in the master bedroom,” Genevieve explained to them as they walked around. They saw more cabinets for storage and entered the master bedroom, which actually looked amazing and also had a balcony where you could relax and enjoy the views. “And this is the bathroom of the master bedroom,” she said while showing them the bathroom, which looked nice and had enough space for two people to fit in. There was a shower and a bathtub, and everything looked great. They then went on to look at the other rooms, which, like the master bedroom, looked nice and tidy. They checked the bathroom, which also looked nice, and then followed Genevieve to the terrace.

The terrace looked very lovely, and you can see everything from there. “If you look to the left, you can see the Eiffel Tower,” she pointed out. “You can also decorate the terrace to your liking,” she then added as the girls looked around. “So, girls, what do you think of the place?” she asked them. “Can we have time to discuss it first?” Jennie asked Genevieve, who nodded and left them alone. “So, what do you think of it?” Lisa asked the question first. “I like this house; it could be our home in the future. How about you?” was her question to Lisa. “I feel the same as you; the house looks great for the both of us,” she replied to Jennie. Then, they went down and met up with Lisa’s cousin and Genevieve to give her their answer.

After the talk, the two were then able to buy the house. “We can use this as our house whenever we’re here, and then we can use this as our house in the future,” Jennie told Lisa, who agreed with her. “Oh, by the way, don’t worry about cleaning the house; there will be a caretaker caring for this house if you two aren’t staying,” Genevieve informed the two, who nodded at what she told them. As they finished the paperwork, they went to eat hotpot with Lisa’s cousin. As they went back to the hotel, Jennie said, “I’m glad we are able to find our house here,” as she cuddled up to Lisa. “Me too! Hey, are you going home tomorrow?” she asked. Jennie nodded, “Nah, I have no schedules until tomorrow, so we could probably hang out,” she said to Lisa, who smiled happily and hugged her back as they closed their eyes.

And they do use the house whenever they are in France for schedules or for work, but it’s never that long. In the future, when they are married and have kids, they will live in the house full-time, where they will raise their children. It makes them happy that their wish of living in their favorite city has come to fruition, even if it took long enough. But it’s fine; at least they were able to find the house where they will forever live.
