Summary
The Kaguya Clan knows two truths: bones make weapons, and weakness gets buried.
Sakura, half-Kaguya, half-unknown and marked by all her difference to her clansmen, survives by stealing moments: midnight spars with her caged brother, pilfered coins, and stolen books. When a brutal ceremony forces her to kill or be killed, Sakura learns that blood is the only ink the Kaguya respect, her victory earns her more than scars. After the Kaguya fall, they carve a fragile refuge in the ruins of Uzushiogakure, where Sakura trades bloodstained fists for fuuinjutsu scrolls, and Kimimaro hides his coughs behind clenched teeth.
