KISS OF DEATH - AFTERMATH
Kitty had left the Cherry Blossom Ball early. She couldn't stand to see Min Ho and Stella there on the dance floor, together.
She's screwed for sure. This was not supposed to happen. She was not supposed to fall for him.
She did though in a way where she least expected it to.
As she was walking back to her dorm room in the corridor, she noticed Q.
"There you are Kitty. Why did you leave?" Q asked as he walked towards her.
Kitty swallowed the lump in her throat. "Oh I just wasn't feeling it so I decided to leave early."
"Kitty come on I know when something is bothering you. So what is it?" Q interrogated her even more. Its clear he was not going to give up any time soon.
"Nothing." She said.
Q eyed her, not taking no for an answer. "Is it about -
Kitty had been defeated. She had to tell him. He's her best friend after all.
Kitty sighed softly. "I don't know what's happening and that scares me like hell but I think you were right. I was repressing my feelings and seeing him there with Stella made me realise that I have fallen for him, for Min Ho."
Kitty breathed heavily as she looked at her best friend in the eye, waiting for his response.
"Oh my god! I knew it." Q had the biggest smile on his face as he hugged his best friend tightly.
"This is great news, see I'm always right." Q winked at her.
Kitty rolled her eyes at her. "No not great news Q. I never expected this to happen and it was not supposed to happen!"
"And he's with Stella and I'm jealous. Like I thought jealousy with Yuri being with Julianna was bad but no this is on another level!" Kitty yelled, though trying to relax. She didn't want anyone to hear what she was saying apart from Q.
"Love can come when you least expect it to." Q admitted.
"I hate when you are right. But you cannot tell anyone about this okay, especially not dae." She looked at him seriously in the eye.
Q sighed. "Of course. I promise."
"I saw you guys on the dance floor and you guys really couldn't keep your eyes off each other." He chucked, teasing Kitty.
"Stop!" She complained.
"Just saying it doesn't scream platonic. You guys looked like you were about to kiss." Q teased.
Kitty's voice cracked, nervously. " What no of course we di -
"By the looks of it, it seems like you guys have almost kissed multiple times." Q challenged her.
"Not confirming or denying but also shut up." Kitty glared at him.
"So that sex dream about him ?" Q asked as he blinked his eyes at her.
"Night Q!" She shouted as she barged into her dorm room and slammed the door.
She leaned back on the door. "What the hell."
Later that night, all the students came back from the ball. Min Ho came back to the boys dorm room.
He opened the door and quickly took off his shoes.
"So looks like you had fun at the ball?" Q teased.
Min Ho eyes widened. "What, yeah St-
"I mean that dance with Kitty." Q said as he took a sip of water by the kitchen.
Min Ho's voice started to break. " Shut up!"
Q eyes beamed as he had the biggest smile on his face.
"So how is she? I noticed she left the ball early. Is she okay?" Min Ho asked, feeling concerned.
Q smiled at him. "She's fine."
Min Ho sighed. "Oh that's good."
Min Ho was not over Kitty. Not even a little bit. He had made no progress whatsoever. This was going to be a problem.
Stella used him but he can't tell anyone because of what she will do. He's being manipulated into staying with her because otherwise she will take down his family and Kitty and he can't have that.
He was screwed. But his feelings for Kitty were not going anywhere.
The way she said she misses him. Min Ho replays the scene back in his mind, the smile he gave. Could that mean more than friendship wise when she said that.
One thing is for sure though. He had not moved on from Kitty and he does not know if he ever will.
