    Edward liked to say that everything Professor Mustang did was purely to spite him; Alphonse would tell him (in his stupid, smart-ass little voice) that “that’s not fair,” that “Professor Mustang had given him a great research position on his lab, even as a high schooler,” and Edward would tell him to piss off and receive a good punch to the shoulder.

    But, seriously, he was so damn sure of it.

    He was ok with the TA’ing. He would grade a few multiple choice exams in his spare time, sure. He could annotate lab papers for Chem 1 backwards and with his eyes closed– it didn’t mean he wasn’t going to complain about it and throw a few fits, but he did it in the end.

    However, tutoring was a new low, even for Mustang.
