Melita dares to walk forward towards the demi-goddess standing 10 paces and a few stony steps away from her. The dark-headed girl takes a step back, eyes wild. She’s the feral kitten Melita had taken in.
Feral creatures may bite, but only when they’re scared. Melita could be brave enough for both of them.
