Chapter Text
Amy slipped on her favorite pair of slippers (The kind that looked like kittens) and finished brushing through her quills. She was having a spa night. A perfect evening of Serenity And Relaxation.
She put on her favorite pajamas, the light periwinkle button up ones that were so soft, if a little chilly, not being the thickest material, but that made tucking herself into her soft blankets that much more rewarding.
She tucked herself in, perfectly content as she let herself fall into sleep.
Yeah… Sleeping. So Comfy…
Ahem. Sleeping. Yep.
Amy Tossed and Turned, eventually sitting up with an agitated sigh as she looked around her room in the dark.
Everything Seemed fine, but there was this unsettling feeling she couldn’t shake off. Like something was missing..
Or something that wasn’t supposed to be here was lurking..
She got out of her bed, tucking her feet back into her slippers as she walked to her hammer. Talking out loud as she did, like one would do to warn wild animals of their existence. Though, she would assume whatever was here already knew about her presence.
“Whoever’s here. I’m not in the mood. So you better scram before I get even More annoyed.”
She picked up her hammer, scanning her room. Her eyes caught on the unusually bright light coming from her open window. It made the entire room a dim purple color, and made the whole place feel more like a dim twilight than the midnight it was.
She tightened her hands on her hammer, approaching cautiously before throwing open the lacey pink curtains.
A singular eggbot-one Amy recognized as one used for spying-Hovered at her window, its camera shifting as she appeared into its view.
She huffed. A spybot? What, Was Eggman trying to learn her skincare routine?
She slung her hammer over her shoulder, feeling a little less scared now that she had seen her adversary.
Putting a hand on her hip, she spoke to the camera.
“Eggman, buddy, even if you learned the secrets to my beautiful fur, you couldn’t reach my level.” It’s just facts. She’s cuter than anyone.
The Spybot beeped, almost like a command, and Amy’s playful demeanor fell flat as she watched something else rise from below the Spybot.
A lot of Somethings.
A whole lot of Badniks. Not just Spybots…
Amy groaned, readying her hammer. Her spa day was officially ruined.
Whatever. She could handle a few Badniks.
She however, didn’t anticipate that there’d be even bigger problems than the badniks. Much less that it’d be behind her.
She screamed as metal hands grabbed her hammer and pulled it to the side.
Amy turned, Aiming a hit to the enemies’ torso.
It didn’t flinch as her hand made contact with its chest, though it took a step back from the force.
Amy took a moment to shake her hand frantically, whining at the pain shooting up her arm.
“OwOwOw- What are you Made of??”
Her questions were answered as the red lights from the badniks closing in from her window illuminated the adversary.
It was Sonic. But it wasn’t.
It was something similar but not quite the same. Its body was metallic, Shimmering and reflecting the light from in front of it like it was polished beyond reason.
Blue paint without a scratch on it covered its body in the same pattern as Amy’s long time friend, but where the blue paint was absent all that was left was cold, plain alloy. Blood red, glowing, beady eyes seemed to glare at her through the dim room.
Metal Sonic. Amy shivered as she came to the realization, her surroundings finally making her connect the dots.
This wasn’t going to be a fair fight at all…
She grimaced, looking Metal sonic in the robotic eyes.
She ripped her hammer out of Metal Sonic’s hands, holding it at the ready as she jumped to the side, Taking in all her opponents as they quickly overtook all the space in her room. Something was gonna be broken by the end of this…
“Oh come on.” Amy complained, giving a long sigh before striking a smile and holding out one hand, gesturing for them to come closer.
She might as well get this over with, and get back to bed.
She rushed at Metal Sonic again, and it rushed towards her. As they collided, Amy was pushed backwards into the Vanity mirror at the back of her wall. She held her hammer to block Metal Sonic’s attack, claws just inches away from her face. Amy grimaced, feeling blood trickle down her back as the strength of her hitting the mirror had caused it to break and cut at her back.
Amy growled, pushing up and kicking Metal Sonic in the chest. Sending it across the room before she rushed after it. Sending her Hammer towards its head. It blocked with a hand on Amy’s hammer.
He grabbed onto it, keeping Amy from moving back, as It raised its free hand to slash at her.
She gasped. Releasing the hammer and jumping back, only to run into the flying Badniks around her room. Which ran into her shoulder with a heavy weight. Meanwhile, Metal Sonic was trying to remove its claws from Amy’s hammer, as they had gotten lodged in it when he had grabbed it.
She had put her focus to them for only a moment before she had to refocus on Metal Sonic, as it had lunged at her again, after dropping her hammer onto the floor by her bed, and she only barely rolled out of the way. He fell straight into the badniks that had previously surrounded Amy, and had broken quite a few of them in its attack. Amy had the gall to giggle.
“You’re not very good at working in a team, are you?” She remarked as she rolled and grabbed her hammer again, just in time to hit a Badnik away.
Amy heaved, lungs burning from the effort of the battle. While Metal Sonic showed no signs of degradation. She glared at her opponent as it stood, back faced to the mirror and claws twitching. Red light illuminated the room dimly, and reflected off him. His face obscured, the only part of his face visible were the glowing red eyes that glared from across the room.
It was Metal who made the first move this time. Closing the distance faster than Amy could blink, as it grabbed her by the shoulders and slammed her to her bed.
Claws dug into her shoulders. Amy flinched from the pain.
She heard the sound of jet engines powering up, and Amy shut her eyes as she mentally prepared to meet her fate of some sort of grievous injury by the hands of a fake Sonic.
Then the sound stopped, and she peeked an eye open to see Metal with one hand lifted in the air, ready to attack, but it was frozen. Its eyes still a red color, but duller, staring at Amy in silence. Even the Badniks had stopped moving, as if only puppeteered by him.
The claw that had been aimed to come down at her face softly lowered, carefully holding her face, though all Amy felt was knives being held to her neck, a threat.
She didn’t know why it had paused, but Amy didn’t question it. She took the chance to lift her hammer and land a hit to Metal Sonic’s head, sending it flying across the room. For a real Mobian, that would’ve at least knocked them unconscious, most likely more.
However, Metal Sonic got up all the same, seemingly ready to continue the battle.
Amy laughed sarcastically, jumping off her bed and holding her hammer at the ready.
This was going to be a rough night.
She traded hits with Metal Sonic, leaving him dented in multiple places, and his head looked a little off-kilter. She had also seemed to successfully keep the badniks at bay. All while keeping the damage to her room at a Minimum! At Least nothing was in Irreparable splinters.
Amy wasn’t doing any better than Metal Sonic was however. She could feel places where bruises were already going to come up later, she had multiple cuts from Metal’s claws on her face and arms, and her Pajamas were Ruined.
So much for her Spa Night.
The battle came to a close as they both stood at a standstill. Amy prepared to jump back in, except her movement was stopped by something that felt like chains around her arms. Which had come from a Badnik she hadn’t noticed creeping up behind her.
Damn.
She thought about dragging the Badnik around, but that risked breaking things in her room in the process… Something she’d like to avoid.
While she was wondering what to do, Metal sonic had closed the distance. Red eyes being the only thing she could see as her hammer was whacked out of her hands and she was knocked to the ground. More Badniks wrapping chains around her that she couldn’t seem to break.
She struggled, for a moment before giving up, going limp with a sarcastic laugh that ended more like a growl as she struggled fruitlessly one more time, more to release her anger than to actually escape.
“This is So Unfair. Do you hear me??” She glared at Metal Sonic, who simply stared back. Giving no reaction to her statement as he Silently moved towards her.
Her quills prickled, and she gave one last attempt to break the chains.
“NO. I DON’T WANNA. UGH!! SONIC!!” She called out for help, but none came, and she was unceremoniously picked up by Metal, the cold feeling of his metal frame making her teeth chatter.
She huffed. Attempting to kick him, however she couldn’t quite reach so it was, really just flailing with no real purpose.
It held her carefully, so much so she was a little worried she’d slip out of his arms. She was tucked to his chest, close to the jet at his middle. She could feel the prick of metal claws that grazed her shoulders. However they were so light she barely registered them.
The badniks moved out of Metal Sonic’s way as it moved back to her window.
Amy suddenly got a lot more concerned. Realizing Metal Sonic intended to fly with her. She wasn’t built for going top speeds like him or Sonic. If he just blasted off, He Might Blast Her Head Off!!
And So She kicked and flailed and yelled.
“WAIT WAIT WAIT DON’T JUST FLY TOP SPEEDS WITH ME IN YOUR ARMS YOU’RE GONNA KILL ME!! STOP! STOP RIGHT NOW!!”
She screamed, her eyes screwed shut as his jets powered up and she felt them take off from her window.
Then she felt. Not much really, a lot of wind. Nothing too terrible though, nothing blasting her head off.
She peeked one eye open to see. Not much, just a blue clawed hand angled in front of her eyes, blocking debris from it. She peeked below it, watching the ground fly by at a high speed, like she was on a train. It reminded her of her birthday…
The only thing she could hear was the loud noise of Metal Sonic’s engine, which was so loud her ears bent down to hide from it. It did provide some warmth though.. Barely. She leaned into the warm feeling, as it was the only thing keeping her body from going numb up here.
All in all though, it was a nice, pretty experience.
If you ignored The Chains. And how it was like, 1am, and the fact she was being kidnapped. And she was still in her pajamas! And she has so many cuts and bruises! And she’s freezing!!
Okay. Not such a great experience…
She’ll just have to figure out where Metal Sonic planned to take her, and hope the real Sonic and her friends come to her rescue soon.
Man, She hated being the damsel in distress…
