   Summary

   James Buchanan Barnes pulled Steve Rodgers from the lake. After that? Months spent hiding, running, alone. Until he found himself in a random town, in a random bar, served by a random nosy tattooed bartender. Maybe he could stop running for a while and just figure out what was next. Finding a job, a place to stay, even a roommate, the nosy bartender being an interesting choice.
   But he couldn’t escape his past; neither could she. He wanted his memories back; he would have them. All of them. Even if they could destroy him. But sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom, just to stop from falling. And there even might be weirdos to help you getting back up.

   The story picks up right after CA:TWS, and completely diverges from then on. Civil War and Cie never happened. In which Bucky gets on his own, finds a new friend, is found by old friends, old foes, and gets his memories back thanks to BARF. And Tony Stark. And Joelle.
