"Go away now."
"Leave me alone!"
Emily shouted, breathing heavily. Her brown eyes scanned the small bathroom, hands gripping the doorknob in hopes of keeping that thing out. Cuts adorned her body, blood slowly staining her clothes.
One particular wound was deeper than the others, about an inch or two. It was on her stomach, blood being quick to leave a trail to her lower belly and dry on her shorts.
Other than the fact there was nothing to protect herself with, Emily's only escape option was the window near the shower.
The only problem? It was across from her and she couldn't let go of the door because of her raging girlfriend.
Emily heard her heartbeat in her ears, the fast thumps a testament to how afraid she was. As she took a deep breath, readying herself to let go of the doorknob, the window shattered. Glass flew everywhere, startling Emily.
"..!!" Shards flew into her open wounds, making them sting even more, and into her eyes.
"..AAAGGGGHHHHHHHHH !!" Emily screamed in pain, dropping to her knees and clutching her head. Unable to close her eyes or cry without immense pain, she felt hopeless, not even able to see who broke into the bathroom.
The sound of Emily screaming and begging for mercy was almost enough to make Corii feel bad.
Keyword: almost.
But after a little bit, the screams died down. Too quickly for Corii's liking. So she dropped the knife in hand, now curious about what happened.
Corii tried turning the door handle and soon creaked the door open.
Inside where two other people and Emily. One of them was carrying Emily bridal style, the other was sweeping the glass out of the way with their feet.
"Ah, Mary, Abbey, you're here!" Corii smiled, taking in the sight of the two brunette girls both dressed in black. "I thought you two would come sooner, honestly." She opened the door fully and stepped in.
"Well sorry you're not our first priority." Abbey said, dropping Emily's limp body into Corii's arms. "There's glass in her eyes, should we take her to the hospital?" Mary asked, pointing to the blood dripping from Emily's eyes.
"I'll take care of it, don't worry." Corii reassured, her smile returning. She held her girlfriend closer to her body, not caring if blood was soaking her clothes.
"Okey.." Mary replied, looking at Abbey and nodding her head towards the scene. "Weirdo." Abbey muttered, rolling her eyes.
Corii shot a look towards Abbey, her smile seeming more forced than before.>
"Alright, you did your job. Go away now."
