Work Text:

Diana brushed her finger gently against Eva's cold skin, attempting to feel atleast a drop of radiating love from it. "Is this, really necessary?" The mathlete didn't avoid the gesture, actually suprisingly leaned in to the touch, spoke with her usual crispy tone. If it weren't for her crimson cheeks, she'd look composed.

For context, Eva had returned to their dorm after a field day of math exams left and right. They barely spent their time together due to the amount of work she had to deal with.

So the moment she finally had to rest, the chameleon took that advantage to make her feel relaxed. She deserved it. By building up the mood, and attack her with deserved soft kisses.

Oh, and cuddle too.

"Yeah! And you do feel relaxed.. Right?" She squinted her eyes attempting to lure Eva in giving in. Which in result, she did.

"Soo, lipstick or lip gloss? Your pick!" She put out four options. Two shades of lipstick, and two flavours of lip gloss. Each were the best ones that complimented Eva's skin. "I really don't want to look too bold. You know?" She glanced up to the magenta eyes, they looked so pretty. Her eyelids glossed in kindness.

"Well, lip gloss it is then!"

Although Eva didn't respond, her slight nodding gave it away.

Diana started by swiping a fresh layer of grape lip gloss over Eva's pale lips, she was so close, to the point that the warmth between them was mixed with their scents- Eva felt her shoulders tense up. She didn't want to deny it, but Diana 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 close made her feel something dwindle in her stomach.

How can someone look that 𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴?

"Okay, andd.. I think you'd really really need some foundation!" Diana backed up, and there Eva slowly relaxed. Though she really wanted- so wanted for her face to be that close again.

The chameleons hands rummaged through the amount of cosmetics stuffed in her makeup pouch. For some reason, she always brang it. "Why.. Do you always have that pouch with you?" Eva curiously asked, her eyes narrowing down to her pouch being raided by a pair of palms.

"Well, incase I forget my whole setup! I usually bring more than one bag. But this pouch has most of the essentials that I need! That's why I always bring it. It's pretty convenient huh?" She grinned, finally pulling out the 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, Diana referred to.

She closed her eyes, preparing for the soft sponge to gently dampen her face. When suddenly-

"Hm.. I think no foundation actually suits you, Eva. You look pretty enough.." Diana whispered, putting the foundation down on the table. Eva, who had lost the crimson dusted all over her face, found herself going unbelievably red again.

Eva couldn't even formulate a sentence, she was never used to compliments. But as much as she really wanted to say something, her shyness kept preventing her throat to atleast utter a sound. Only her face, could say for itself.

Slowly, Diana inched closer, their foreheads almost bumping into one another. "Eva."

And thankfully, she finally said something. "D-Diana.. -" she hitched her breath, their worlds stopping.

Slowly, she felt Diana's hand trail up to cup her check, and before she could even respond, she felt a pair of soft lips overlap hers. Eva couldn't move, nor she could fight back, she let Diana guide her through the kiss.

As she clenched her eyes close, she focused on Diana's scent, how unbelievably 𝘴𝘰𝘧𝘵 her lips are, how gentle she was at kissing her- it all felt like a warm hug. 𝘕𝘰- 𝘯𝘰 𝘯𝘰 𝘯𝘰-- Eva chanted the word like it was the end of her life, while also holding back something she 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 wanna let herself do.

𝘉𝘶𝘵- 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘧𝘵- 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴, 𝘰𝘩 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰-

She wanted to, she so wanted to.
So she didnt hold it back any further.

Diana was surprised when Eva responded to the blissful kiss, though still being tense. The crow found her way from her own sides, to wrapping their arms around Diana's waist. She let out a low, whine, a sign that they'd been kissing for too long and that Eva was loosing oxygen.

Diana pulled back first, which set to Eva's disappointment. But immediately disappeared after she felt the cosmetologist attack her neck with soft, gentle kisses. The dwindling that had been mingling in Eva's stomach, had now become worse.

But honestly? Eva didn't mind.

".. So are you relaxed now?"

"Mmphp."
