“When I was waiting for you and Eous, I noticed how nice the night breeze was.” He explained, already climbing up the ladder and unlocking the hatch door, “It’s a good night to relax outside and drink.”
Lighter followed him quietly, helping him bring up all the snacks and drinks before climbing up as well. When he finally reached the rooftop landing, the cool air felt good on his skin and he gazed at the city view. While it wasn’t as if they were at the highest peak to overlook all of the city, it was still a sight to behold at all the neon color lights and distant cars driving around, especially for someone like him who came from the sandy desert of the Outer Ring.
“There’s better views out there but here, it’s home.”
