Summary
Shielded her whole life by prayers and her faith, Bonnie and her family were ill-prepared for the day the world ended and the dead began to roam the earth. In Townsend, just outside Knoxville, Tennessee, Bonnie, William and their daughter Clara fled for their lives.
They headed to the only place of guaranteed sanctuary they knew – all the way across state lines in Georgia. Shut out from the death that roamed the streets, Hershel Greene welcomed his family onto his farm with open arms.
Salvation from the dead was not the only thing Bonnie prayed for – she prayed for a full meal for her daughter, she prayed for her husband's anger and father's wrath – and for some reason, she prayed for the man she had only just met, holding his son, bleeding out across the bed.
