"Guys, I think Kanade needs an internet detox." Ena sighed. Mafuyu, Ena and Mizuki were at Kanade's house in order to hang out, but Kanade was glued all day to her computer, just composing.
"...I think you're right." Mafuyu crossed her arms and walked to Kanade's desk.
"Ah, Mafuyu, do you need something?" Kanade asked, taking off her headphones.
"Ena and Mizuki are here. We decided that you use your computer too much. Did you save all your work?" Mafuyu asked. Kanade was confused, but nodded. Without warning, Mafuyu unplugged the computer. Kanade gasped.
"But I need to compose!" Panic filled Kanade's mind, frantically trying to turn on the computer again.
"Now now Kanade, we need to let you have a bit of downtime. Come read manga with us, touch grass and eat some cake!" Mizuki said as Mafuyu picked up Kanade like Simba.
"This... This feels really weird..." Kanade whispered. She tried to use her phone, but Ena took it away. She tried to compose on music sheets, but Mizuki took it away. All that was left was hanging out with them, without the internet. Kanade felt like her hands were empty, and her brain was scattered. It was... kind of scary. Kanade glued herself to Mafuyu.
"Kanade, eat some cake." Mafuyu said, taking a fork and handing it to her girlfriend. Kanade shook her head.
"I want to hug you." Kanade whispered. Mafuyu accepted that and spoon-fed her the cake.
"Kanade, do you want to read some manga?" Mizuki asked.
"It's alright." Kanade smiled as she kept clinging onto Mafuyu. It was kind of adorable, but kind of uncomfortable to watch.
"I need to go to the bathroom. Can you two take her off?" Mafuyu asked, and Kanade hugged her even tighter. Mizuki and Ena struggled to tear her off.
"Damn, where do you suddenly get this strength, Kanade?" Mizuki asked.
"I- I want to hug Mafuyu. I feel... empty when I'm not composing. She makes me feel safe." Kanade whispered.
"Well... Kanade, what about we try doing something else? This manga is about rock music, maybe you're interested?" Mizuki asked and handed Kanade a copy of manga. Kanade nodded, soon getting lost in the storyline. Meanwhile Ena made sure Kanade got hydration and snacks. Mafuyu came back, and sat next to Kanade.
"Kanade, you can hug me again." Mafuyu said, but Kanade was too focused on the manga to listen to her. Mafuyu glared at Mizuki and Ena.
"What have you done with my girlfriend?"
