In the world of Twisted Wonderland wings were everything.
Wings for connected to a person's magic meaning if you had no wings you were powerless and in this world 99.5% percent of the population had wings meaning they're magic.
However, Yuu never had a chance to have magic because he wasn't even from this he was this world.
In the world he came from magic was just mere fantasy and people had things by hand or by machines.
Even though he had no magic he was allowed to attend because of his monster taming abilities and the headmage had a feeling that there was a lot more to him than meets the eye.
Even though he was a bona fide student but people constantly taunted him for his lack of wings.
At this point he had gone used to it but never stopped hurting him because he was one of the only few people in this entire world without magic.
How wrong he was.
One day when he was hanging out with the boys from Heartslabyul during spring break it had gotten hot so the boys took off their shirts fully exposing their wings.
Usually you couldn't see people's wings because they were partly covered by clothing unless they were shirtless or fully exposed their wings which usually ended up with riped clothing.
Yuu always loved seeing his friends wings in their full glory.
Riddle had red wing's like a summer tanager,Ace wings were like a Orange oriole, Deuce had a wings like a Blue Jay,Cater's wings were a like a True Redstarts and Trey's wings were a Green rosella.
He couldn't lie that he was envious of how they could fly up to the sky and use magic but sometimes seeing them fly was enough for him.
Ace spread his wings and took to the sky. "Hey wait for me!"Deuce said also taking flight.
Riddle,Trey and Cater joined them in the sky.
Yuu sat under the willow tree and took out his sketchbook.
He started sketching Riddle's head and then his body and most importantly his wings.
All of his wings were lovely bright red with his wings being smaller then then others like his stature.
Yuu looked up from his sketchbook and Ace waved to him.
Yuu waved back and closed his eyes, imagining him joining his friends in the sky feeling the wind in his wings and hair.
Suddenly he was jolted out of his fantasy.
"Y-yuu! You have..."Ace said shocked landing in front of him.
The others were equally as shocked as they stared at him.
Suddenly he realized that there was something on his back.
He looked at his back and on it was pure white dove wings.
He touched his wings, they felt like everyone else's wings, light as a feather but strong.
"H-how?"Yuu whispered excitedly.
"Maybe your exposure to magic caused you to grow wings,"Riddle suggested landing beside Ace.
"This is so awesome! You'll be able to do magic and fly with us! I need to get a picture for Magicam!"Cater said taking out his phone from his jacket beside Yuu.
"Stop that! Yuu just got his wings!"Riddle scolded.
"We should tell the headmage immediately,"Riddle said
"On the way there how about we show you the basics of flight?"Trey suggested
"I would love that;"Yuu said happily.
After all the Overblots, drama and battles he finally got what he wanted and he would be able to do whatever else can do.
This was a dream come true for him.
