James sat up the camera while already streaming, a few people were there already greeting him and eachother, requesting games to play and videos to react to.
"Hey guysss, I'm so excited for today's stream!" James said as he sat finally down with a smirk.
"I've had a really good day today and I feel like it will continue as a good day. How've y'all been chat? I've been to a café today that I go to often and they had a new special, which was exciting, because it was like double sugar. I think it actually was a sweet special for children, but let's not focus on that please."
He was interacting with the chat for a while they were chatting about their day, and then it shifted into where they all are from and what their favourite streamers or youtubers were. There were some people who James didn't know, some who he also watched, there was some mentioning of his friends, like Marlene, but one comment grabbed his attention
"B_llie: From Britain and part french. I really started liking R.A.B"
"Ohhh! I actually know Regulus, chat. Well... I've never like, really seen him irl, but he's my best friends'; Sirius', brother. Sirius is also a streamer and a youtuber, so go check that out."
That was all it took for the chat to blow up with saying that they love Regulus and that they should collab and stream together or do some videos.
"Listen, listen" he started with a smile on his face "I can't promise that we'll colab, he kinda doesn't like me. But! We can watch some of his videos, what would y'all say to that, huh?"
And, of course, almost everyone agreed. They were a bit disappointed with not getting what they wanted, but it was enough for fans to start shipping them.

Regulus was streaming on twitch. He was playing a game that was more on the relaxing side. He had a plan to play a game, chat a bit and do some unboxing of the stuff he ordered to the apartment.
It was just a temporary apartment, to have a roof above his head after his brother got him away from his parents. Sirius found him the apartment a few months before he dragged him away and Regulus was never so grateful for having an older brother.
He started streaming when he was about 15 years old and he dragged people's attention, because some fans recognised him from the family channel Walburga made so their business would get more advertised.
He was sitting in his chair, fluffy blanket around him a green hoodie on, green tea in front of him and relaxing music in the background. He leaned back to stretch and than read his chat.
"H_srsly said that James Potter is watching my videos right now." He spoke quietly, and then did something between a humm and a yawn. It was quite late, about eleven in the evening.
"He's streaming? How'd you know that he watches that?...Yea he is, okay. I don't really like Potter. I bet he's kind, but he seems like a too much of a people pleaser... Not something I'm looking for in a friendship, or anything else..."
James Potter sent 100£: Hi baby

James thought he was smooth but was red like a tomato on his neck ears and cheeks
"Hello Potter, throwing money around are we?"
Regulus said his voice smooth like honey.
James reddened even more and covered his face with his hands. He then sent another 100£. He tried to type so many messages but felt like he couldn't send any.
He landed on: "I'd invest all my money if it was into you 😉"
And as if he send a risky message to his crush he, threw his headphones on the keyboard and curled up on his bed. He sneaked a peak just to see Regulus smirk and go back to his game.

That was a routine for james for the next month
He started a stream, watched Regulus' stream or video, if he wanted to say something he sent quite a large sum of money and then just blushed for like half an hour, after that he moved on with the stream playing games or whatever was planned.

James was on his way to Sirius' place. They weren't going to do any videos, they were just gonna hang out Remus, Peter, James and Sirius, but Sirius announced about 5 minutes before James arrived that Regulus will also be there, since there's some renovations in the apartment next to his and he can't stand the noise.
When he arrived he hugged Remus, Sirius and Peter and then greeted Regulus that was laying on the sofa. Of course, James was very red in the face even though it was a casual "Hi, I'm James"
But Regulus couldn't help himself and just said "You're a bit smoother through the screen" with amusement in his voice.

They all chatted for a while except Regulus who was still reading with headphones on his head, and then went to watch a movie where Sirius sat into Remus' lap on the armchair and even though how they were sitting looked so uncomfortable, the couple looked the opposite of that.
Peter loved the comfort of their armchair, so he took that.
And James was sitting on the sofa next to Regulus who way leaning with his back on the armrest.
About an hour into the movie regulus put his feet into James' lap and like an instinct James started circling his fingers around his ankle and then started massaging Regulus' feet. (Not meant to be sexually)
In ten minutes at most they all were passed out with the movie still going in the background.

James and Regulus started hanging out nore often, and their friends even started joking that Remus and James switched the brothers because if you would have to guess who Remus is with like ninety percent of the time you'd be probably correct if you said Regulus, Lily, or both, since Remus and Lily started a book account that Regulus appeared on too quite often.
Same thing with James, if you'd have to guess and say Sirius you'd be correct. But lately James and Regulus spent their time together and Remus spent time with Sirius.

One day James invited Regulus to his flat. They hung out watched a horror movie and at the end they were curled up together. It started as James cuddling up to Regulus, scared, but their positions switched to Regulus' head resting in the crook of James' neck, his eyes fighting to stay open until James stroke his hair and with the movement of his hand Regulus's eyes finally fell shut.
"James?"
Regulus spoke quietly and James' heart did a little spin that caused a bunch of butterflies to be let into his stomach, because it was always Potter, never James.
"Yes?"
"I think i love you"
It was quiet in the house for a bit and then James kissed the top of Regulus' head.
"Regulus?"
"Yeah?..."
Regulus' voice cracked with sadness, tears in his eyes as he looked up at James, thinking he was going to get rejected.
"I know I love you"

The week was spent on Regulus, James spoiled him with flowers everyday, they went to buy some clothes, legos and sweets and then they cuddled together for the rest of the day.
Unfortunately the week had to end and they both went back to streaming.

They've been dating for about three months now and everybody knew except of their fans. They didn't want to reveal their relationship until about a year or a half a year into it, but a lot of their fans have met them, and the ignorant ones have posted the couple just walking on the street.
James first kissed the top of Regulus' head then his left cheek, his right cheek, his nose, his chin, his temples and then like a grand finale - his lips.
They sat up a camera and started the stream.
"Hello guys! Have you missed me? Last time we met it was... About yesterday!"
The fans immediately recognised Regulus and as James was reading the chat he threw his arm around him and his face reddened.
"Yes, yes, Reggie's here. Everybody say hi! Be nice!"
They didn't say that they were dating, but didn't deny it either.

They've played some games, answered some questions, watched some videos and before James realised it; was one am and Regulus was sleeping on his shoulder.
Once James noticed that he grabbed the camera, knowing that Regulus wouldn't want to be recorded sleeping.
"Okay, I will have to end this here, I'll see you when I see you, have a great night"
He picked Regulus up and carried him to bed, then brushed his own teeth and went under the covers with his boyfriend and as soon as he sneaked under the duvet Regulus curled up to him.
