   Summary

   Cassidy Amber had always relied on sound.

   Sight was one thing—she could see, obviously—but her instincts were wired for something deeper. The vibrations in the floor when someone moved. The near-silent shift of air when something passed too close. The way a person’s voice cracked, dipped and wavered. Sound told the truth when words didn’t.

   And right now, everything about Mark’s breathing was a warning sign.

   OR Mark goes through suppressant withdrawl whilst in a voice call with Cassidy, but she's agoraphobic (afraid to leave her home) so she's forced to listen in uselessly as he violently reverts to his hybrid form.
